Damn. And he was playing like a vet, too. Looks like White, Lashoff, or Colaiacovo will be playing now.

f***. White better step it up.

EDIT: Coli or Lashoff are much better options, keep White off the ice.

UnFn believable!! all year long we get a player back from injury and in the same game we lose someone else! tonight Bertuzzi is back and we lose our best Defensive Defenseman!!

I know it's been confirmed by Babs but throwing in an official source for good measure.  ;)

The word that comes to mind is.... s***!  I don't see White being the guy to step in here.  Babs clearly doesn't trust him.  It will be Lashoff or Cola.

That's playoff hockey. Oh well. I think that people are overstating his importance. He's been good, but he's also been playing most of his time on the third pairing.

Notice when Dekyser left, (around 12 mins left) the D went to CRAPOLA! this blows!!

One thing tho, Dekyser is the real deal! GREAT Defensive D-Man!!!

Dekeyser has easily been our best most consistent dman since he got here. Yes, better than Kronwall. Huge shut down presence and extraordinary first pass. Played beyond his years.

The fact that the Wings were playing with five defensemen was a big part of that, believe it or not.

babs has stated that , No Dan De then no playoffs. I feel that that may be a quote that will be repeated after this series, the Wings

just cant buy any good luck. I think Cola will get the nod, vet with a bit of size. White is just to small and a liability too often.

"Yeah, every game, you want some coach?" Steve Hanson
"Er, no. No thanks guys." Reggie Dunlop
