Stephen Weiss on his way?

Yikes. I don't know if I am excited or upset.

A deal with Weiss would almost certainly mean that brunner is gone, since we signed Alfie. But it does make our team better.

Z, Pav, Abby

Franzen, Weiss, Alfie

Nyquist, Helm, Tatar

Miller, Andy, Eaves/tootoo/bert

Could look alot worse.

NEED, BRUNNER, CHEAP, LOW RISK, HIGH REWARD. SIGN BRUNNER. Could you imagine if we pay Sammy 3 million a season and let Brunner walk at 2.5. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

"Yes, please. Hopefully something reasonable that gives them flexibility. $7.2mil in cap space remaining after the Alfredsson signing."

They still need to re-sign Nyquest, Anderson and Smith. The Wings have basically no cap space.

******* buy out Sammy and sign Brunner. Sammy has no chance with this team.

Can't buy out sammy, face it, he's here for next year. Hate seeing Brunner go, he was going to be a good sniper. Weiss will dish the puck to Alfie who will dish the puck to sammy who will shoot high and wild... ok bring out the third line.

Holland tried. Samuelsson blocked it with an injury claim.
