Btw this is one of the more upsetting games this year. One we really couldve/shouldve won but failed miserably.

I totally disagree. I expected this outcome.

Because:

1. They way the lost on Sunday

2. The fact that they don't win in Philadelphia

3. Philly has talent and they've been underachievers the last two years

4. We don't have a top 2 line center on this team right now

5. Gus is still a backup

I feel like you're trolling everytime you rag on Kronner. These last couple games haven't been his best, but "awful 75 percent of the time?" Have we been watching the same player all these years?

Kronner is not this team's problem

/captain save-a-Kronner

Overreacting yes. But I truly believe Kronwall plays more bad games than good games. When he's at his best he is a great shutdown defensemen

This team wins against the Kings although the goal should have never counted, beats the Blackhawks and then blows a 4:2 lead against the Panthers and follows that with a 0:4 against a struggling Flyers team.

Thanks god the east is so *easy*

I would seriously considering seeing what Datsyuk could fetch on the trade market. It's getting to be time to move on from that era. Maybe trade to someone who's on the cusp of being a real contender like Colorado or another team not in the division. He's not a franchise player in other words he's not Yzerman or Lidstrom. I love him as much as the next guy but when's the last time he played a full season? C'mon it's time to move on

Pavel Datsyuk is one of the most special players ever to lace up a pair of skates. He can do things that make most guys wake up from their dream covered in Tatar sauce. To think the amount of people saying it's time to trade him when we are watching a game where we're missing Dats, Z, Mule, Weiss and Howard's also not playing and the kids have hit 3 or 4 posts is completely absurd. You don't trade a guy like Datsyuk, ever. He's loyal to the team and deserves to stay for his whole career just like Stevie Y and Lids, and just like Zetterberg will.

This was a statement game. That said we could play a halfway decent team and win without zetterberg n datsyuk. And we get embarassed.

Maybe next game when we play the Washington Ovechkins instead of the Philadelphia Fakers, we'll win again.

The Wings have no passion what so ever, no drive to the net, no scrums after the whistle, no cycle game down low. Just going thru the motions.

Yes because scrums after the whistle qualify as having passion....

Were REALLY gonna give this bum Steve Mason a shutout??

All our good chances are posts or missing the net. Dial in the sights and this game could be tied at 4. Unfortunately, it's not.

It is called showing heart, something this team needs. Start to crosscheck, fight, hit the game is over just some damn emotion

Absolutely they do. It shows that you're pissed off that the guys you're playing are kicking your ass all over the rink and on the score board. The Wings lose like a bunch of wimps, they take it lying down. It doesn't hurt anything to show some goddamn moxie and be pissed off that you're losing an important game to a conference rival that is going to take an important 2 points from you. And I'm sure someone will say "Well they should be focused on scoring goals... not starting scrums/fights" Well, clearly they aren't doing a good job at the whole scoring goals thing, so do something! Don't roll over and die like they do.

Datsyuk and Zetterberg, maybe. But Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Franzen? That's happy-to-score-a-single-goal territory. JOAKIM ANDERSSON is our first-line center.

Gustavsson, the defense and Babs are to blame. Offense obviously could've been better, but four or five posts could've easily gone the other way.

Why Helm and Alfie weren't the go-to guys tonight boggles my mind.
