Which is dumb unless we are getting a big return. Other GMs should actually known that.

It is dumb, and I don't really know if that's true but the only valuable players we have could be untouchable, save for a minor Hemsky or risky Gaborik type move.

Who else?! Jensen/Backman don't have same value as Almquist. Imagine next season:

Kronwall - DeKe

Ehrhoff - E

Smith - Marchenko

Sproul

That's a nice D

You just won me over. Ok, call KH and make it happen.

Honestly, I don't see a difference between Emmerton and Andersson. Andersson was good in the playoffs, but aside from being a good PKer he doesn't add anything to this team. Emmerton doesn't, either. But Emmerton doesn't hurt us either. Interchangeable. If Andersson can get us someone, go for it, I say.

I think Abs should be our biggest trade bait.

Who would replace him as a big body in the top 9? He would create void in the roster.

Legwand is on the last year of his contract right? So he'd be a rental?

Yes. A rental does make sense if the Wings need a short-term answer at center.

Apparently as long as something is submitted before 3 pm deals can be announced after, so it's not necessarily 3 pm or nothing. More can come out as the day goes on beyond the deadline time.

I usually hang around a half hour after deadline.

Kesler only willing to waive NTC for PITT PHI or NY... Ass.

That's not right regarding NY cause:

'The Rangers expressed interest in Kesler, but a source confirmed to ESPN New York's Katie Strang that he would not waive his no-trade clause to go to New York.' Per LeBrun - http://espn.go.com/blog/nhl/post/_/id/29451/canucks-still-taking-calls-on-ryan-kesler

On TVA sports (Québec) they were told that Vignault doesn't want Kesler?!
