The team doesn't have to win all the time for us not to turn on them. Honestly, they just need to show up and try every night. We could respect a team that does that and still loses or was entertaining to watch. They're so conservative in their playing without being defensively strong that there's just no excitement about them this year.

I think Blshill's problem this year has been too much respect for the vets. If it wasn't for Datsyuk and Z's resume who knows where they would sit in the lineup. Z would be a borderline healthy scratch, especially after a game like this. His speed makes us a worse team when speed is our best asset. Blashill couldn't just walk in and start demoting Zetterberg, there's no way.

Problem is - the Wings rely on other teams to suck balls when in fact the Wings need to grow a pair, and man up to win games...No excuses.

Hard to do when the ownership doesn't grow balls and put pressure on the GM. This team's problems start at the top. Very few teams in sports are successful with owners who don't care about the team.
