joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted April 15, 2016 Sharks were the much better team could have run up the score if it weren't for a lot of goal line stands and LA being very opportunistic. This will be a great series

GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted April 15, 2016 Lot of demons for the Sharks to exorcise here. Up 3-0 on LA a few years back and blow the series. Sharks aren't known for their mental resolve, either.

GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted April 17, 2016 LA is the only team I can see beating Chicago, so if they go out, I see the Hawks in the Finals.
joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) LA been getting dominated all series but manage to keep it close by making the most out of their opportunities Edited April 19, 2016 by joesuffP
matt198913 932 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 LA is the only team I can see beating Chicago, so if they go out, I see the Hawks in the Finals. I could see the Blues beating Chicago. Lucic seems non existent, other than that 1 pass across on the PP.

matt198913 932 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 Sloppy play in the second. Announcer on CBC just said Thornton isn't a dirty player. Did he watch any game he played against Detroit in the playoffs? Of course this is also the same guy who wanted Abdelkader suspended for getting attacked
amato 3,210 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 Calling it now, a home team doesn't win a game this series until game

The Wings (especially back then) were so soft that anything was perceived as dirty. Thornton has been a gritty player, but he doesn't cross the line. A lot more people would consider Abdelkader dirty than Thornton.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 Happy to see the Kings get back into the series. They wouldn't have been able to repeat a miracle comeback this time around, the Sharks are much improved.

He's for sure gritty but some of his hits have been questionable. But there are players a lot worse than him by today's standards.
