Bear in mind this was the 52nd pick given up for Leddy. We still have the 48 and the 38.

Most expect Nielsen to be bought out and become UFA. Leddy mentioned him twice.

I think the bigger question is Nielsen playing out his contract?

Yes but he is still on the roster for one more year unless he gets bought out later. And yes, I would buy him out if Seattle does not take a forward. Figure that's what SY is waiting on.

I'd buy out Nielsen, regardless who Seattle takes.

When Bernier played for the Leafs they had a fundraiser in the name of Mandela. A reporter asked him what he thought of Nelson and he said "I respect everything that he's done for this game and sport over the years" or something like that. Had no clue who he was.

Let the Red Wing dummy purge continue plz.

Maybe it was a form of "Mandela Effect". In some parallel dimension, maybe Mandela was a famous athlete who helped to bring about change thru sports. Who are we to question which alternate timelines Bernier has experienced.?

Disappointing. Don't think he'll do any better on the open market tho. Contenders will want him as a backup, so good luck getting paid. If he wants to be a starter, his options will be limited to bad teams like Detroit.

He'd be backup here too. Might as well have a chance at a cup while he's at it.

Re: Nielsen. Popular buyout candidate. I'm all for it, but with Brome splitting, Svech probably not bring qualified, Filppula, Helm, Gagner, Ryan, Glenny all UFA, it's quite possible Yzerman will need him to fill out roster and get to the cap floor.

Carey Price's wife

Seattle is 6 hours south of Kelowna

*Laughs in Bergevin"

How much you wanna bet Chad Bergevin signs Bernier for like $4 million now? His goalie costs drop from $13 mil to $7 mil...

Yup the Anti-Vax wife is from Seattle.

Greiss - soon to be 36 year old starter/backup?
Brattstrom - first time in NA
Fulcher - Perma ECHL filler
Larsson - will be on loan till his contract expires

Dats some beautiful goalie depth right there :drunk:

I'd be real surprised if there aren't some very serious conversations about Wallman and Cossa going on in that room. Our net is all but completely gutted.

Yzerman needs to grab that Vancouver #9OA

Oh so this literally could just be visiting family and pure coincidence?

BTW I finally got my Billy Gates 5G vax system update a few days ago. Work made me. Just thought you'd all like to know the system broke me.

Welcome to the higher order!

out of all of that, I really hope Luke Hughes is our pick at 6, regardless of how many picks we amass!!
