Who do and did you hate more?

Is it unreasonable to hate any team Chris Pronger has played on?

Lol... I'm pretty sure the handbook will be required reading on the flight in. I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson tripped him up coming off the plane in order to assess his skills.

    R. Lang goal

I am compelled to defend my esteemed colleague, good friend, and blood brother on this account. Robert Lang led the Wings in playoff scoring in 2004 and was on his way to winning the Art Ross during the season before he broke his ribs; tied for Wings' playoff scoring lead in 2006 and put up 60 points despite being third line center behind Hank and Pav; and while he was terrible in 2007 he still managed to contribute with two huge, clutch goals in the playoffs. All of this info and more will be available in my upcoming book, A Brief History of Lang, set to debut as soon as I find a publisher that considers these historical events as important as I do.

I hope Lilja gets to camp in time to partake in the diving lessons.

Damn, I'm gonna miss that man. One of the nicest people I ever met. Good luck and good journeys, Andreas. Some of us will still have a soft spot for you.

    Babcock to Change Defense Pairings

Sounds like he wants them to work on the interstate to me. Maybe he's fed up with 75.

Babcock impressed with several young players

Anyone know what happend with Ryan Oulahen? He was very promising, then had a serious injury but shouldn't he be back by now? McGrath signed for second tier team VIK (Lidstroms old club) btw...

Who do and did you hate more?

Do you even need to ask? There's only one element of the Pens that I don't hate and that's Dan Byslma. He seems like a stand-up guy and tells it like it is, unlike his predecessor. Everything else about that team - even Mario "I'm-Taking-My-Puck-And-Going-Home" Lemieux - just infuriates me.

Who do and did you hate more?

Witherest Pronger goes, so goes my disdain; hence, no Duck hatred. I don't hate the Pens really, either, but I cannot stand He Who Shall Not Be Named, therefore the Pens are guilty by association and will suffer my dislike for a long as He is there.

I used the hate the Ducks, but with Pronger and Niedermayer gone, there's not as much to hate. I actually used to like the Pens as my second favorites with Lemieux, Jagr and Francis, but this "new generation" annoys the crap out of me. People around me say that I don't like the Pens because they beat my Red Wings, but the truth is regardless of the outcome of that series, I would not like the Pens today. The crap they pulled in Game 5 was disgusting. It showed very poor sportsmanship. I had high hopes for Crosby when he first entered the league. He idolized Yzerman and was living with Lemieux, my two favorite players and he doesn't act like either of them. So I hate the Pens, for now. At least until all these dbags leave the team.

    Article on Downey

I would like to see Downey as the 14th forward. While I don't see him playing above Drapes in normal games, he may be 'needed' in several games throughout the year. With the talent in GR, I don't think Miller or Ritola is needed as the 14th when Draper is available. They would get minimal games behind Drapes, and IMO Downey would be a better option as a possibility on any given night.

    The person below me game...

Nope. I believe God orders my footsteps. TPBM is rolling their eyes at that statement.

Well, I know he hasn't made the team yet, but I'm just saying that the move makes sense for them. No harm in trying him out.

Best of luck Lils. Can't wait to bounce you and that sorry ass team out of the playoffs.

He is the Pain Train. Hopefully he will remember us when we play against him, and not hurt us too badly. Best of luck to him and his family.

That's three more years the Wings don't have to worry about Chicago in the playoffs.

This is obviously NOT what is wrong with the world, because there are things that actually matter that make this world f***ed up, but it's s***ty. Minor, but s***ty nonetheless. The parents are obviously as dumb as they come, but this is non-news. What's wrong with the world? Genocide, starvation, pedophilia, rampant profiteering, crime, incest, the legacy of colonialism, global warming, aids, warmongering, cancer etc. Or s***ty hockeyparents? I'm kind of on the fence with this one.
