the thing i noticed is goalies bail out other teams when playing detroit. but how many times has jimmy bailed out detroit this season? once? how many games have he been to blame? a bunch? hes not a game stealer which sucks cause i dont see him going anywhere

Great job on the last two goals by Howard..... Really thought he was turning the corner, then goal in the last minute of period 1 (not his fault), goal in the last two minutes of period 2 (not his fault, kill Ericsson), a bad rebound for goal number three (his fault) and a TERRIBLE miss on the GWG... Frustrating night to be certain, they started so well.

Yea rough go.... I would love to bring in a Defenseman to replace Salei.... I like him but I think another shutdown D would really help to tighten things up come playoffs.... Nothing huge... just a little move to really have tighten it up...

The one thing I don't get in games like this is all the pretty plays and cute s*** by the Wings.. I mean they are one of the few teams that has the skills to make those plays and finish them off.. but save it for a game you are dominating.. look at how both of Cleary's goals were scored.. drive the net. Seems like it should be simple logic to me.

This is sad. Filppula and Hudler homers arguing about which player is better. Like two *** decorators arguing about which one is tougher.

My experience with Brett was far different, and I don't think Chelios really has an issue with him because, when I met them they were hanging out together at Cheli's restaurant in Dearborn. (along with Shanahan and Tkchuck) We caught Brett walking thru the lobby, my buddy had just gotten back from Iraq. Brett invited us both in Chelios's private room where we met the rest of the players, they signed autographs and took pictures. Very nice.

Video Games are not a good indicator. I have won 40 Stanley Cups in a row just simming because you can fleece other teams because machines can't trade worth a damn. I would have to agree, but there is an old saying that the team who got the best player always wins the deal... That might be Dallas. Goligoski could end up being the best, but the cost they paid right now is absurd. Neal is the type of forward you covet. 30 goals are hard to come by, and if they don't sign Brad they really screwed up their team.

I wouldn't deal for anyone but a #6 defenceman, and I wouldn't give up anyone on the roster for this player unless his initials are "Ruslan Salei". Once healthy, the Wings are a solid, Stanley Cup competitive team. Too high of a cap hit, and too much term for the Wings to... Oh, I see what you did there.
