If Jonas Hiller was healthy, Anaheim would have won this series. The overrated Pekka Rinne was tagged for a ton of goals in this series, yet his team still won. Why did they win despite having s***ty goaltending and not many talented forwards...............? Oh, that's right. Ray f**king Emery sucks.

i think it'd be just plain foolish not to put Flip on Pav's wing if you've got Z able to center a line. those two had some incredible chemistry going in game two.

He went to the side of the net and was left wide open. He had so much time that he got a second chance after fanning on it the first time. How, exactly, does this entitle him to any praise? You or I could easily have scored that goal in the same situation. The puck bounced toward him and he had been left uncovered by a totally oblivious Butler.

You know, when those commercials first came on, I felt bad for making fun of him. But then I remembered he's a lawyer and has done way worse. He's earned the ridicule.

I'm not usually the type to post something like this, but that defense is soft as hell. You don't need seven puck movers, especially with Smith waiting in the wings. You need some muscle on the blue line. I don't know why you're so open to dumping Stuart; he's been a rock defensively.

Yeah to be honest I am hoping to donate around 100.00 total for all four rounds we are going to win this year. So if Jimmy can post between a 2.00 and 2.50 per series I'll be happy, and sprinkle in some shutouts!

Yea but, the floor is why 10 teams are almost bankrupt. Teams can't keep up with the increasing floor. Personally I think they should allow teams to go under the floor, but if they do, they can't get in on revenue sharing.

Go to Russia, half way though next year, will want to play for the NHL again, Wings will sign him, he will be put on waivers, NYI will pick him up, and he will refuse to play/report to NYI.

Mursak is the replacement for Modano. Draper wants back for another year, and I'm not sure with the way he has played this year, that you can say no to him. This would mean Emmerton would be lost on waivers. I think Emmerton is better than Ritola, but Losing him would not be the end of the world. Lidstrom has given more hints be is playing next year than he normally does, so I think he is staying. So the defense either stands pat, or they let Salei go for Smith. I think Holland is going to be in a position to make a trade or two, unless he wants to sit on several million dollars worth of cap space.

Why not throw 4 mil at Brad Richards and see if he wants to play for a perennial contender? And then after NEXT year we go after Weber when he is an UFA (if he signs for 1 year this summer). He can step right in for Lidstrom so we can throw 6-7 mil at him.

Uhh yeah both of those goalies have done jack s*** in the playoffs, so until they win a cup the verdict is out on both of those goalies, Luongo and Miller. I still think Luongo is overrated. We'll see this year.
