This is an authentic statement. He seems even more active on the power play this season than last. I had said a couple weeks ago it was more his style to stay back while Kronwall did all the roaming but now it seems all that's been turned on it's head again. Who knows what the next decade will bring as he continues to re-invent himself.

Tonight you can honestly say, Red Wings got screwed by the refs. The hit on Kronner is being called interference this year, well except tonight. 8 penalties to 3? PLUS a 5 on 3? Wings definitely got screwed tonight. Never fear guys! In 1995-96 the Wings started the season 5-5-1 and wound up at 62-13-7. BUT, this lack of scoring is becoming a bit concerning...5 goals in 5 games is not gonna cut it. I wouldn't be surprised if Holland makes a few phone calls just to see what's out there... Wings lose a 6th in a row, you can bet numbers will be dialed...

Didn't know you could hit the guy who not only doesn't have possession, but isn't even trying to engage you physically. Kronwall is trying to get around Koivu and takes a shoulder to the face while doing it. That is textbook.

The officiating was indeed pathetic. Also, these new line combos didn't look too hot when they were out there. Maybe some of that has to do with constantly having to kill penalties. In any case, Bertuzzi and Franzen are too lazy and too stupid to be playing on the same line right now.

Torts is pretty much just as classless though.

People are way too touchy. Yeah, Torres is kind of a ****** on the ice, but this is ridiculous. Dwyane Wade at Halloween last year If Torres is racist, then Wade is, too. Unbelievable. Just wow.

Kronwall got dummy'd and the Wings got owned by the Wild, don't blame the refs start pointing fingers at the lack of offense. I don't want to see Holmstrom next game, Bert either, bring up some guys that can skate.

As much as I'm pissed now, I'll be even more pissed in a few minutes, when Babcock, once again, refuses to call out the refs. I'm sure he makes enough money to, just once, let these clowns have real good (bad?). It might even be good therapy for the team.

I wasn't necessarily speaking in direct reference to that shift. I'm talking about in general. The Wings have consistently looked tired and more sloppy as games progress, regardless of the score. What I want to know is why. You know how a toy sounds/acts when the batteries are winding down? That's what they look like.

Im not one to blame things on bad refs....except today. I cant even find words to explain how mad I am. We have a lot to work on but that is NOT the only reason we lost. ugh

Green scored 30 goals in a season and still didn't win the Norris. Not sure how his ability to score from the point is going to make up the difference in ability between him and the elite defenseman of the NHL.
