Well, how about giving Conklin more than one start a month? He's 35. Sometimes, older guys need to actually play once in a while to get into a rhythm. He has one bad game and then he gets to think about it as he rots on the bench while Howard starts 15 straight.

This pretty much originated from a thread on reddit regarding shoddy quality of jerseys and nameplates and such on Shop.NHL.com. Apparently http://www.coolhockey.com/ is one of the few licensed jersey customization companies out there and they're doing a nice sale promotion. Not diggin' losing Stuart on the blue line tonight. Not diggin' that at all. Hopefully Joey can keep up this "I'm gonna steal yo job Conks" style and we can squeeze out a win tonight.

I was just watching That's Hockey on TSN before the Wings game and they mentioned that Visnovsky might be available out of Anaheim.. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before but it seems like most of the Ducks talk has been around Getz/Perry/Ryan.. I think if the Wings know Stuart wants to be in Cali then it could be a decent move if they could pick up Visnovsky.. I THINK his cap hit is 5.2 or something, which isn't terrible and I believe he still has another year left on his contract, if he could play like he did last year then it could at least soften the blow of having Lidstrom retire.

For God's sake, Hudler is a worm. he trained with UFC fighters, he is bad as it gets. you can't let scum like huddler play in this league after he spends his summer hanging out with UFC maniacs, smashing skulls and bruising women. Finally the truth comes out on this dirt bag.

I think the problem is some people are not used to seeing these sorts of plays from their teams players...ITS CALLED BACKCHECKING so next time YOU watch a game watch Hank's stick and remember that's what it's called.

9 goals 26 assists 35 points A team leading 152 shots Is Z struggling? Maybe. I think he is more frustrated thats for sure. Last year he had over 300 shots in 80 games and scored 24 goals with 80 points. I am not disappointed with Z. He is going through a rough patch right now and I will continue to support him. He is going to turn things around on the scoring side. If not, he is still one of the best players on the team. Keep the faith!
