Dude.The all star game has become so boring lately. And I don't see the winning team taking the money, so more than likely it will go to a charity. None of this sounds like a bad idea at all. If it doesn't work they can change it next season as quick as they did this season and nothing is harmed. Or, so exciting you piss your pants AND your friends pants.and then never talk to those friends again, because you just pissed on them. But it'll be exciting.

Tomas Jurco has this amazing talent of not being visible on the ice despite being a good sized 22 year old who should be able to run to the moon and squat pyramids. I don't know why maybe he's injured maybe he's bad or maybe he's just bored. We need to get a grip on this guy. Hopefully some games in GR shows what's up with this individual.

So you're essentially saying that Babcock AND Blashill have some hidden gem in Brendan Smith and that they've both failed to recognize it? Many of us disagree with the actions of coaches and management all the time, but this isn't like they're playing Datsyuk on the 4th line. Smith has been mostly terrible his entire time here. Even Smith's defenders admit that... but assert that they think he will be better in the future. This is why he plays where does. He's bad. He's done absolutely zero to prove otherwise... so I don't know what you're seeing him.

I don't ascribe to the whole west is best thing. Just like I never ascribed to the whole East is tough thing. Sure the race is tighter in the west, but I don't think that's necessarily an indication of superiority. It only indicates similarity. The east has plenty of stars and especially in the All-star game we're evenly matched if not arguably better.
