So here's some good new, Washington's playing Boston (the hottest team since the TDL) in the first round. Boston is peaking at the right time and Washington seems to be in disarray. For the first time ever I want Boston to win something.

Dunno what a fanook is, but I'm constantly critiqued for not being fat or ex military. "She must not cook very good lol" Because I ate a reasonable portion of food and am not overweight. "Thanks for bringing wine, but idk what a petite syrah is lol that must be soemthing your learn in college, we only get fat syrah in boot camp lol" yes unclue vinne, i got an education and a job and thats how i know about wine, wish i had got shot at more. toledo is comfy. Real depressing. Great town. I always order ranch instead of blue cheese with my wings and make sure to make it very clear to everyone that blue cheese blows and ranch is superior. Am i autistic? maybe. Do I hate new yorkers? absolutley.

Makes the most sense IMO. He's been a good soldier. One year = placeholder, two years = a little more respect + opportunity. I'm here for it.

Agreed, they're working on an extension. If he was gone they'd say he's gone, but if he's staying they're not going to announce it until there's a deal. Otherwise management would essentially be handing over some of their leverage in the contract negotiation.

Very true. Not to mention, if we don't have a crazy high end offensive center who demands 10+ million per year down the road, we have the cap flexibility to focus on depth rather than giving up too much cap on too few guys. I'd rather have a bunch of 6-8 mil players than a few 10-11 mil players.

I'd honestly be thrilled with both at center if they could be good enough defensively to lighten some of the load for Larkin. With more favorable usage I don't think it's unrealistic that Larkin could get back to a 60-70 point center. That's not amazing or anything, but if you add in offense from Raymond, Zadina, Vrana, Bert, (maybe) Berggren it might be more than enough assuming we keep playing really tight team defense. I'm not in love with the idea of not having a genuinely gifted offensive center, but I look at St. Louis and Tampa the last two years as models for how it "could" work if we decided to go that route.

Now Zadorov is at the top of my list. But Chicago has him under RFA control. I watched Kulikov for one season in Buffalo. He should go to a cup contender and play the passive defensive role he's used to.
