The Philly draft history since Couturier in 2011 is kinda tragic...
2012: Laughton not a bad choice, but only ends up a 3rd liner. They do manage to get Ghostbear in the 3rd, but turns out he can't play D.
2013: Total waste
2014: Sanheim turns out to be a big let down
2015: Provorov is sorta a disappoint, but Konecny turns into a poors mans 1st liner!
2016: Rubstov is a total waste
2017: Nolan Patrick at #2 overall has his career destroyed by injury
2018: Farabee still might turn out to be a 2nd liner one day...
2019: Cam York looks pretty blah, but Bobby Brink might still be good
2020: Too soon to tell
2021: Too soon to tell
2022: Cutter Gauthier pulls a Lindros
2023: Michkov may very well never leave Russia at this point
Good for Gauthier to escape that team. Briere is in over his head, and Torts would have dragged him.
