A fight Brad Norton DIDN'T lose...

In keeping with the spirits of today's threads - which all seem to be brawl / funny fight-related - I thought you'd get a kick out of this...

It was linked from the "Very quick fight" thread video...

Watch closely and Brad Norton and Aaron Downey square off... a historic battle ensues.

What's the deal with this guy Downey? there's a bunch of his fights on youtube and it seems like every time he just squares-off for as long as possible until the other guy moves first...search for his fight against Brashear, Brashear actually shrugs like wtf? after Downey circles around non-stop. Maybe he shouldn't fight if he's that worried about it.

I don't think it's that he's WORRIED about fighting - he seems to enjoy it (watch him throw his gloves and prepare). I think he just likes to observe and wait for his moment (find the video of him KO-ing Boulerice) to strike. I would bet he's been trained as a boxer - he's not a typical "brawler" who throws haymakers until his hand is broken.

I dunno if he's worried about it or if he's just a counter puncher type. Some guys like to let the other guy make the 1st move. I personally like to get in there and get to it as soon as possible. The more time you spend sizing each other up the more something can go wrong for you. Its better to get in quick and get a good lock out grip and try to free up your throwing hand. Odds are if you are the 1st guy to go in you are likely to get your lockout arm into the place where you want it to be and the other guy will have to try and work around that and that gives you a split second advantage to be the 1st throwing punches and IMO, i'd rather be the guy throwing punches first then the guy eating punches first.

I love the referees coming in at the end and kind of WTFing at each other. Finally, they're just like, "OK retards, break it up."

:lol::lol: Oh my gosh... I am crying...:lol:

Hahahaha That was f-ing pathetic. WTF was the point of throwing the gloves off like you're about to rage, then do absolutely NOTHING. Funny as hell. But wow, so pathetic...

yea I've seen that before, pretty pathetic, nothing against Norton though, Downey was the real clown in this vid.. not only does the guy stand back and back up anytime you move forward, but he keeps right fist cocked unlike a lot of fighters who usually go for a grapple off the bat, if you type "Boulerice Downey" in youtube you will probably see what can come of it, but other than the odd fight like that it creates for s***ty long square offs

Whats the second song , the shabbadowhabaha one called ?

Scatman. I have no idea who it's by though.

It works pretty well in that video, considering that both Norton and Downey are so stupid in that moment. Norton is such a joke as a fighter. Has he even won a fight before?

It's Scatman John! Or John Larkin is his real name.

I used to have a tape of his when I was a kid. The guy can scat

Yeah he's a legend. Too bad he's dead already.

Man, this "fight" keeps making me laugh over and over again.
