ok..first four games were great. Next four are

@Washington

TAMPA BAY

@Chicago

DENVER

Lions should go at least 2-2 in this stretch. They go 3-1 in this stretch, I want the scientist that makes the kool-aid so I can have it put on tap, replacing my water in the faucet. :lol:

I'm pumped about the win, but I pretty much expected it with Chicago's struggles with injuries and their offense and the Lions being at home. Let's hope they can ride that momentum for a good showing at Washington next week!

Im not gonna get too ahead of myself or anything, but if the Lions do actually end up getting 10 wins(i still doubt it) then soooooooooo many people will be eating crow about Kitna's comments. EVERYONE just laughed after hearing that(me included). But if somehow it does actually happen, that will be the biggest shock in football.

Bigger than Appy State beating Michigan??

sorry Michigan fans. I couldn't help myself. :D

Sure, Michigan loses a game they have no business losing once every couple of years, though typically in the past it was to a team in Division 1-A.

But Detroit....the Lions? They only get ten wins once, maybe twice, in a lifetime.

Lions can still show themselves and lose the next 12 and no one would be surprised. You gotta drink the kool aid in moderation right now.

This whole thing reminds me of the 2006 Tigers season, when you first saw the tigers start winning. "Could this be real? naw...give it another few weeks."

Of course, but I havent allowed myself to have a sip of the Lions kool aid in years....I'm damn thirsty!

And look where that season ended up ;)

The Lions NEVER EVER EVER win on road trips to Washington. So we'll know by next week if this is for real.

I think all the results have gone as expected so far, and that means 2-2 over the next four games. Im going in assuming this next game will be a loss, then they'll beat Tampa, lose at Chicago, and beat Denver. However there are factors in each game that benefit the Lions. If Santana Moss doesnt play...that will be absolutely HUGE. Tampa now no longer has Cadillac, so although i think the Lions would win anyway that certainly helps our cause further. If Chicago continues to reel, then they could take that one. The mindset of the Bears going into that game will determine the outcome. Broncos just have issues. Funny how now Denver is actually the game that i consider the easiest of the 4! Whens the last time you could say that?? Everything just seems to be falling in the Lions favor....10-6 baby!

The Bucs are 3-1, very underrated team so far. Garcia could crave us like a turkey in the same way Joey did last thanksgiving. Going 2-0 against any team in this divison is hard, regardless of what teams are playing whom. That being said, I think the lions will win the skins and broncos game.

Denver game is gonna be close tho, they are running the ball well with Travis Henry, just not scoring any touchdowns with him. I should know. I have Henry on my fantasy football team. :lol:

Call me crazy, but going 4-0 in the next 4 games wouldnt surprise me. I think the game they'll have a tough time in will be agaisnt Denver. So 3-1 is still great.

6-2 at that point in the season would be HUGE.

But for now, 31-17 Lions @ Red Skins.

I actually have a hard time believing the Bucs are 3-1, so they arent really underrated in my personal opinion. I refuse to believe in Garcia, so he's going to have to keep proving me wrong! We have a little edge of our own though, with Marinelli and Barry wanting badly to beat their old club....and you know the players are going to give it everything to win it for them. TB, especially now without Cadillac, just doesnt seem that good to me. We'll see, but i definitely like us in that game coming off the bye.

For the Skins game i'll go 21-17 Washington

Lions will probably go 2-2 in that stretch, beating Tampa and Washington, but losing to Chicago and Denver. They might beat Denver, but beating the Bears in Chicago is definitly a longshot.

For the Tampa game, I have them winning. Tampa may have had a decent start, but Garcia is garbage, and I just don't see any other truely strong points on that team. Their defense is pretty bad also, and should be exposed if Kitna keeps it up. I won't predict a score just yet though.

For Washington, I have the Lions winning 24-17.

The Bucs have played very good defense during their first 4 weeks and have beaten their opponents by 13 or more last 3 weeks. Of course Tampa Bay plays Indy this week so that should bring them back down to reality in time for the Lions game.

Exactly..still hasn't made me stop drinking Kitna Kool Aid though.

Who was the Kitna hater on here in the summer?

I haven't really watched them much this year, but last year their defense never really impressed me. Not as bad as their other aspects, though.

That would be me.

He was terrible for the majority of last year, so I would have never guessed he'd come in on a roll to start the season. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Their defense is reminding me of their Super Bowl defense they had a few years ago.

Of course, it wouldn't be a surprise for them to go 0-4 over that stretch either. None of those teams are pushovers.
