Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 (edited) easily. Dallas got 5 on him on 10/10/07, no problem -- scoring isn't exactly Dallas' forte, although Hagman is 5th in the league for goals and points, beating Zetterburg's 20th at the moment and Dats at 266th in the league. Zetterberg is 6th, with Alfredson above him in 5th place, tied for points but Alfie with 2 more goals and 2 less assists. Alfredson, however, has played 2 more games than Z, and as such should really be ranked lower. But that's how nhl.com has them stacked. Dats is 121st, although he's got the 4 helpers in 5 games while Kubina has 4 in 6 and is in 113th place. *sigh* I ******* hate when the stats lists puts someone with equal points in fewer games under someone who did it in more games. I know goals are more important, so I can see why in the same situation a player who scored more goals in the same number of games sits higher up, but in the end points per game is important too! Edit: Hagman is 12th overall, with 7pts in 6 games. I'm assuming you based your stats up there on the goals list and not the points list. I like Wins. *sigh* I ******* hate when the stats lists puts someone with equal points in fewer games under someone who did it in more games. And I hate that people bash goaltenders for their sv%age -- which they can't do much about with so few shots on goal to hike up their ratios. Oh yeah, one more thing. I think the Wings could probably score more if they didn't spend so much time killing off penalties (some deserved, others not!). And if Dats would shoot instead of trying to pass all the time. so what else is new? Edited October 14, 2007 by puckloo39

Donaldjr2448 43 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Well the way things have been going, I see Calder scoring 2 goals, Cammalierri (how ever you spell it) getting 2 goals, if you all remember he use to play for Michigan!!! So.....I say the Kings will take this one 4-2, I hate to say that, but our Defense has been terrible. Wayne-O Zetterberg will have 2 pionts tonight as well. Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Great GDT Aflac. I gotta say, this should be a high-scoring game for both teams. LA has some good scoring in those lines, but poor goaltending and defense. I'm gonna say 6-5 Wings.

Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Why is Ellis playing again? Ridiculous. Downey is going to be sent down at the end of the month anyways. At least play him a little bit before then, for mine and others entertainment sake.

Stu in Israel 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Absolutely no one picked Chicago to win the last time around, and as far as I know, mine are the only predictions to be 100% correct: Goals will be scored, penalties will be assessed, and one of the two teams will win. Now how about someone dealing with substantive issues?!

Zion 93 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I absolutely love the "Projected Line-ups", Aflac. I do, however, have one request: Due the fact that Andreas Lilja has returned from his impressive playoff form to, well, a pylon... can we rename him The Pylon? Wow, sometimes I forget how many west coast Red Wings fans are members here. That's awesome. Help cheer on our boys on foreign ice! Let em hear ya!!! Wooooooooooooo!!! Staples Center is pretty nice... and there are a LOT of Red Wings fans on the West Coast!!!

Krystal 41 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I have a meeting tonight 1 hour before game time... and from the way they've been going lately, I'll hopefully make it back during the 2nd period. /sigh I have high hopes for tonight though. We're a good team, but if we keep turning it over on our blue line and passing to the front of our net... we're gonna get pushed around again like we did against Chicago. Judging from the responses thus far, I'll make a bold prediction of 4-2 wings. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that poor Pavel FINALLY gets his darn goal.
