toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 Dude, a pred purposely knocked him on his ass because of what he did a couple seconds earlier. He didnt dive. You've got to be kidding. That was a classic Hasek dive, it wasn't even disguised.
Herr Hockey 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 Most, if not all of the penaltys called on either team tonight, were phantom calls. I know. The point is, both teams were screwed equally. One team capitalized.
Guest Jeremy88 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 our horrible offense is to blame for this loss... seriously, other than zetterberg, our offense was horrible tonight.
GuloGulo 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 Yeah the defense sucked. Yeah they had PP goals. They had 17 shots in a period. But the bottom line is Hasek is unable to steal games at this point. He is no longer elite.
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 hahahaha your post made me laugh, not as in a bad or good way it was just very funny, thanks Thanks ;D Yeah...because the Preds clearly dominated on their PP chances, going 1 for 7. Look where you want...neither team played well outside of their respective Penalty Kills. This game came down to goaltending. Detroit didnt play well. Nashville didnt play well. Mason made the big saves. Hasek didnt. Thats where the game was lost. I disagree entirely. Nashville outplayed us the majority of the game and that was it. And the Pred's lack of PP Production has no relevance to the fact we needed to capitolize on our PP chances in the first and didn't. The wings need a better Powerplay. are you always this angry or is it only when the internet wishes hasek would cover his rebounds It's only when the internet acts like an idiot. I was pissed too about Hasek in his last two games, but you really can't say anything about his performance tonight. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't horrible. I can't believe anyone would say he didn't do better tonight than his past two games, he's making progress and getting his game back. That is what is important. SylenT 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 You'd understand if you where reading the boards, when hasek let 3 breakaway goals in against the blackhawks against Sharp and Borque out of all people. Hasek should stop everything btw, thats what he gets paid to do. he is a multi millionare for being able to stop pucks from hitting the net.. letting 3 goals in, from nashville outta all teams.. is just pathetic. k but look bro, hasek is what 42 years old? He's not gonna stop EVERY single shot hes not like he use to be when he was younger. he did great tonight yee, like I said i admit he was s***ty in his other games but tonight was different 27 saves on 30 shots right? thats good
evil204 4 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 I think Rafalski was far worse than Hasek tonight. That was a sweet dive by Hasek!

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 Dom not to be blamed says Mick and Ken. Mickey and Ken never dole out the blame. People need to take one look at Mason to know what a goaltender who plays a good game looks like. If Dom had played like Mason did tonight, I wouldnt be complaining. But there was a clear example of good goaltending (meaning, good positioning, good rebound control, good 5 hole coverage, etc), and Dom wasnt it. He shouldve had the 2nd goal without a doubt. Not to mention another lack of rebound control led Lidstrom to make a save that otherwise wouldve been a goal.

"i" EXPECT hasek to snag his would be rebounds. and not give nashville a chance to capatilze on them, thats what i expect. Notice how Nashvile won? because Mason kept his rebounds.. Not haseks fault? f*** off seriously. All the goals where his fault, alll came off of his rebounds.

I can't believe anyone would say he didn't do better tonight than his past two games, he's making progress and getting his game back. That is what is important. funny, I thought the important thing was that we lost. How many more games until Hasek "gets his game back"? Osgood is our better goalie right now; So why is he not playing? I'm sick of this assurance that Hasek is going to get his game back. I don't care, because I see a perfectly good goalie who has his game right now. That goalie was on the bench tonight.

savaking72 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 I'm so pissed off. I can't believe all of those stupid calls. Especially that last call on Cleary. His stick was blatently being held in front of the net. They call all of those dumb penalties, and miss the real ones. Datsyuk, holmstrom, and Zetterburg were crosschecked constantly...and no call....how about some consistancy. Those refs are jerk offs.

Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 Check your math. Apologies. They said dom made 27 saves which would mean 30 shots, but it was only 29 shots. Regardless .89 is better than like, .75 he had against the hawks. The ENTIRE Wings squad played last night. What did Dom do? Oh yeah. In a game like tonight, Hasek needs to be the best player. Thats where the story ends and begins. Sometimes when youre worn out, you need your rested goaltender to come up big. He didnt. Case closed. That's ridiculous. I need not explain why, anyone with a rational mind can understand that. This is senseless Dom bashing and blatent Ozzie fanboyism.
