Listen to the game instead.

Or suck it up and pay for either Center Ice or hockeystreams.com .

So-so first period. 2nd line looked good, Datsyuk had a couple of good shots, but defense on the PHX goal was terrible.

San Jose has 1-0 in Minnesota after about 10 minutes played btw.

He was rock-solid last year, but it took until mid-year this season for that BS reputation shed.

He's always been a solid D-man and a good shot blocker. That being said, he still had a tendency to turn the puck over in his own end last year. That tendency has disappeared this year, which is a good thing considering the rest of the team is doing it more.

Has Meech done anything to earn a spot on the team? Pretty soon, he's gonna be my new Kopecky :)

Flexibility. He's a placeholder in 2 positions.

Besides that, a point here and there, but not much else.

We should teach him to fight.

The two blowouts Wings had the past week is embarrassing, but Sharks have embarrassed themselves much-much more.

How have they embarrassed themselves more? They've been playing their backup, who without a doubt, has given up some of the softest goals of the year. As a team, not nearly as bad as Detroit has been playing.

I got a nice glimpse of the Sharks losses of late, and goaltending could only be blamed in a few of those goals. Especially the 3-0 lead that ended up a 4-3 loss. The Sharks have had trouble showing up to games just like the Wings, coming out and looking stale from the get-go, or just starting off well and sputtering later. These losses were quite embarrassing indeed, and Hahn/Remenda were all over the Sharks for it.
