Jersey Wing 1,521 Report post Posted April 8, 2009 In Gary Bettman's NHL he just committed a crime. He "hoisted and or waved and or flung an octopus which could result in oco-goo getting on the ice or blinding a player or causing cancer or other health malady", a direct violation of NHL Rule 37-B, subsection C, paragraph J, "Rules that only apply to Detroit"

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 8, 2009 "I honestly believe that in the mid-80s, if it wasn’t for the Edmonton Oilers, the Blackhawks would have won a Stanley Cup. If it weren't for the Oil and the Flames and the Pens, yeah, maybe. The Wings could easily make the same claim, having twice been eliminated by the Oilers in the Campbell Conference Finals. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted April 8, 2009 sad part about the commercial is that Burish is prolly one of the most useless players on their team That's why he says he just has one goal. He left out the part about no assists.

cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted April 8, 2009 They may have sat on this commercial until they play the DRW in the playoffs; the last time that happened was way back in 1994-95. It's easy to target a Club's tradition. What Chicago hockey "traditons" are there? 1) The organ player 2) Total disrespect for the National Anthem, with fans bellowing at the top of their lungs 3) Attendance. The last time they won the Stanley Cup, Bobby Hull had his own hair; maybe.
Opie 308 Report post Posted April 8, 2009 the red wings need to make a commercial where babs comes out in his winter classic wings cowboy outfit and puts a bullet in the blackhawks chief...followed by laying an octopus on his corpse. mildly graffic, but gets the point across. the defending CHAMPS gotta come back with something funny to belittle the hawks. even though i like the hawks... toews is the s***! Then Babs says You're no daisy! You're no daisy at all. Poor soul, you were just too high strung. Then looks up at the camera and says It would appear that the strain was more than he could bear. Complete AWESOME!
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 8, 2009 Nuh-uh-uh... Babcock walks out wearing his WC hat and says, "Excuse me while I whip this out..." All the Blackhawks players and coaches scream like little girls. Babcock pulls out his Stanley Cup ring.
