Who should it be on the DH? line?

After this game I don't think that it would be wise to change either ZFC or the FSH lines they seem to be playing great. But I think we all agree that something has to change with Pavel and Hossa cause we need these guys on the score sheet every night. So I will put out this question to the experts on LGW.... Who and why? But remember bring somebody up and you have to take one off.

I say give Leino a try because he will be hungry to get some time and he has a scoring touch the line could use right now. On the down side I would say to sit Abby.

Discuss.

Hudler-Filppula-Hossa sounds like a really appealing line to me.. but more realistically I think maybe giving Helm a chance to play with Pav and Hossa could produce some good results.

Not that I expect many changes after a 5-2 win.

There's no way to get these 2 players scoring without splitting up the Zetterberg line.

Babcock needs to find the ideal line combos where all these players are not going on long stretches without scoring. So far he's been unable to do it because Pavel and Hossa and even Homer haven't scored in what seems like forever.

Here is my solution..

Val - Dats - Homer

Cleary - Zette - Franz

Hossa - Helm - Hudler

Abdelkader - Draper - Homer

That way Dats can control his line, Z can control his, and Hossa can control his. thats my solution.. but tbh we won. almost got our free arby's too.. heh, im not complaining as long as we win

Franzen - Z - Cleary has to remain intact.

Hudler - Helm - Hossa was a nice line in game 7.

Homer - Pavel - Sammy?

Leino - Pavel - Sammy?

Whatver is left over.

Read my post above and read my other post in the topic about Sammy as far as giving him more responsibility.

He doesn't belong on the top line, and neither does Homer right now.

Hank's line has to be split up, not because they're playing poor, but because our other top 3 forwards are nonexistent right now.

Crap completely forgot about Fil. Put him and Leino/Sammy around Pavel. Then let Draper/Abby/whoever play on the 4th.

If you're gonna split up a line to try and get Dats going, that's probably the way to do it. It's just a shame because Flip's line has been doing so well too. But I definitely wouldn't want the Z/Mule/Cleary line touched.

NN's wet dream finally realized... Pavel Datsyuk on the third line....

Hate to break it to you but Datsyuk is still our number one center, regardless of offensive output.

Maybe October through April, but after that? Not a chance.

Zetterberg Datsyuk Cleary

Franzen Flip Hossa

Sammy Huds Homer

Abds Drapes Helm

These are the best lines. Z&D need to start clicking again. Hossa needs to be away from Z&D. Homer is good, he just can't match up 5 on 5 with the opposition's better defenders. I think this 3rd line would perform well as they all play better when they're off the top 6 for even strength. Then you have your bang line which has energy and can chip in a goal once in a while. Helm can make awesome single plays once in a while but he isn't experienced enough to be on a goal scoring line.

This lineup just screams depth and balance.

No s***. This is my one true pet peeve on this website. Not the conspiracy theories, not the Crosby hating, not the extreme bi-polar panic threads. Its the morons who create unnecessary nicknames/abbreviations for every single player and line on the team.

Go Z! Go D! Go L! Go R! Go E! Go H! Go H! Go H! Go H! Go F! Go C! Go K! Go O! Go F! Go F! Hey *******, we aren't mind readers and you aren't clever. Knock it off.

Go LGW

^ Three letters are easier to type than 30. Most of the time they're pretty obvious.

No idea what the hell FSH is though.

Yes, Z instead of Zetterberg or Sammy instead of Samuelsson, those make sense and everyone knows what youre talking (er, typing) about. But Drapes? Helmer? Bear? Thats just doing it for the sake of it and/or attempting to look clever by coining a new nickname. Its unnecessary and irritating.

Im sorry, I had to get it off my chest. Its been eating me up inside.

Haha. Have FZC go against HIV and the CIA. The IRS won't know what hit 'em. They'll think they're on LSD or PCP. Then go get that CUP and then take it around SWE while the rest of the NHL goes to RIP.
