Thanks for a good season.

Great showing for all of the hurdles this year.
I make 1 or 2 posts a week tops. Sometimes they're gold, sometimes they're crap, but the end weight is the same.

Jimmy D said early in the season the best these guys could ask for was just to get into the playoffs. Little did he know what kind of injuries and adversity these guys would have to fight through to get to where they did. The second half of this season was absolutely amazing, and I am as proud as ever to be a Wings fan, and proud of the team for what they accomplished this year. Thank you.

We found a promising goalie, and going to have Hudler next year.

Considering that we were at something like 36% to make the playoffs two months ago... Making it as far as we have is something spectacular.
I couldn't be prouder of my Detroit Red Wings. Could not be prouder.

Very proud of them for making it as far as they did, given the season they had. It'll suck for about an hour or so that they are out, but it's a good thing. They'll get extra time to rest this year, heal any lingering injuries, and they'll come out firing next season.
Looking forward to 2010-2011!!!!!!!

Fair effort reaching the 2nd round with one of the worst teams in a while.
Howard is here to stay, bigger roles for Helm and Abdelakder next season, and Ritola and Kindl up full time.
This season was never going to be anything overly special, but to reach the playoffs, extend our streak and win a round was good.
