T.Low 1,011 Report post Posted May 1, 2011 wow so this could really be a tight series too The Sedins still are not strong enough on the puck. Seeing how effective they are together in the regular season, can you imagine how awesome Datsyuk twins would be together! Goalies wouldn't have a chance in shootouts with Datsyuk twins. evilmrt 636 Report post Posted May 1, 2011 There is NOTHING more exciting than NHL sudden death overtime. Nothing beats the sheer excitement of a packed house screaming while the game is on a razor's edge where every play is magnified. Or not. Hes holding a sleeping child and playing Angry Birds on his phone during the game....
aMonster 96 Report post Posted May 1, 2011 Ok lets see here, I know the drill, I've watched Detroit fans so I know how it's done... OMG WE LOST A GAME The Canucks suck and it's all over, no matter what, they are down now and surely the series is unrecoverable :violin:

BigWillieStyle 662 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Does the NHL really want a Tampa/Nash final? Seeing as he can't have his poster children in it. I think that, that may be his revised wet dream.
sandyeggo wingnut 19 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 I've *never* seen a home crowd more...stoic I gues is the word...than nashville. Did they put orange shirted statues in the seats??? Vladifan 680 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Oh, joy! Oh, rapture!! At LEAST I get to watch CBC for a change. It's heaven listening to peeps who actually know what the hell they're talking about without slobbering all over their mikes about their own players. And tomorrow night we'll probably have Diva Drew and his little mispronouncing lackey doing the game. AGAIN. :battle: :flamingmad: :punch:
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Another good game. Matt Halischuk, Blake Geoffrion, and Nick Spaling are really making waves around the league. They've all played acceptionally. The hooking call on Shea Weber that led to Vancouver's GW PPG was complete horse s***. Just a good playoff battle..
Theophany 110 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 What a brutal call to end the game. Hate to see playoff games decided by a ref's whistle.
10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Yeah, epic fail on that call. Not to mention the one that lead to Vancouvers first goal.

evilmrt 636 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Calls like that in OT...in the playoffs...should be subject to "challenge" like in the NFL. I'm tired of games being decided by a ref.
BigWillieStyle 662 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Lead to Vancouvers first goal... And the Oscar for best actor of the night goes to... I'm betting Auger wouldn't have called that.
RusDRW 155 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 first goal on a dive, second one and game winner on a phantom call. Detroit needs to learn how to do these "simple things"... as they are nowadays associated with winning.
Valas19 50 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Wow, after seeing all of the diving and embellishing videos on Youtube with the Canucks I fear of what a Nucks/Sharks series might be like. There would be hardly any scoring as everyone would be laying on the ice "hurt".
cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 The "Green Men" looked depressed. Is there a suicide watch on them yet?
wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 Really bad call in OT there, hate to see that it ended the game
esteef 2,679 Report post Posted May 4, 2011 There are no such things as bad calls and refs don't decide the outcome of games remember? Good teams are supposed to play through and overcome, not use reffing as an excuse. At least that's what we hear when this happens to the Wings. Horrible call. esteef
