Guess we'd be in trouble against Vancouver, had we moved on.
No telling how long a concussion would last, and this Grand Rapids s*** wouldn't be as funny in the playoffs as it is in the regular season.

Seriously, it wasn't Hudler's fault. However, Hudler was still s*** and if we can package him for a top 6 winger, I'd love it.

Hudler's a Czech (but apparently can only check his own teammate effectively)

The way Cleary looked I would be surprised if he started next season on time. When they showed him getting help off the ice he looked like all he was doing was natural instinct motions. Nobody was home and the lights were turned off.

My prayers go out to Big Bert and Cleary and their families tonight. I can't hate on Hudler too much, we've had some good times with him. But I wouldn't lose any sleep if he was gone come September.

Hudler had his best stint as a Wing in the 08 season/playoffs. Should have not tried the second go-around with him. He is a liability in many ways - GR or waivers. I think he pretty much solidified his ticket out of Hockeytown contract or no next year.
New season, New start! May the force be with the Wings this time!

Every year it seems we get more injured then other teams. So annoying.
Maybe it's good that we lost, wouldnt have been able to handle losing to Van.
