Hypothetical - Crosby soon to be a Wing. Who do you give up?

Here's the synopsis:
Crosby is getting traded to the Wings. Shero gives you three options and you MUST take one because Illitch says if you don't you're fired.
1st round pick
Discuss what your decision is.

Forget 'it would never happen'. In Aznknight's world it does.
...then Aznknight can have this discussion internally.
Also: "it would never happen"

My decision is to walk out of the office. I just can't justify any of those trades, regardless of the fact that it's the best player in today's game.
Agreed. But that's the point of choosing the lesser of the three evils no matter how satanic the decision could be.
Of course I wouldn't do any of those trades that's why I chose them lol

Option 1. we would be dropping two aging guys with big money long term contracts. Sending a 40 point guy and a pick for a guy that outscores this group by himself. The other packages are far to heavy on prospects.

I will get fired because I will not be responsible for taking Detroit back into the dark ages....
Bring Fedorov Home For A Day!
He Needs To Retire A Red Wing.
When Gordie Leaves Us, the NHL MUST Retire The #9.

Why oh why is this a topic. I would never want to see Crosby in a Wings Uniform.
It's been a great honor for me to be a player for the Detroit Red Wings, to play for an Original Six franchise. I know I'm far from perfect, but I learned a lot.

Someone run a capgeek on that. We probably now have lots of room to go after some big guns.

Maybe I'm putting too much importance on personality of a player but part of the reason I fell in love with the Wings was because of the type of players that they had. Crosby is every primadonna trait that I hate rolled in to one player.
