There are a lot of things that we still need "awareness" of, but is breast cancer really one of them? Is there anyone out there who doesn't know what it is?

I'm all for raising money to treat and/or prevent it and to help people who are fighting it, but do we really have to be raising awareness? At this point, I'd rather see actual fund-raisers that actually do something about it.

Valentine's Day has a point, if you are Hallmark and chocolate manufacturers. Otherwise, it serves to make a lot of people feel bad and inadequate -- like a lot of commercial holidays do.

Carpeting in your house is not gross. Hardwood floors are not required for your home to be amazing. Sorry, hardwood floor installers and DIY shows...

I got my mom and sister roses for Valentine's Day. (They live together, so it was only one vase.)

People who have a significant other should be able to celebrate VD if they so choose without having to listen to all of us single people whining about how VD is only for couples. It's about love. Deal with it. Not every holiday has to pertain to everyone. I don't make plans for Tet, Purim, Dia de los Muertos or a host of other things that aren't in my culture/religion/lifestyle. If it pertains to you or interests you, go celebrate. If not, step back and let others enjoy it.

You aren't alone on that one, Loo. I never got the point of that one. It's like "Big Bang Theory". I find nothing funny about it. I think it's stupid.

I will not watch awards shows for entertainers, that includes NHL Awards. The Oscars were on last night, so this is my yearly rant on them. These celebrities get paid millions of dollars for making movies. They spend a few months, sometimes in a beautiful location, then take a few months to a couple years off. There are a several awards shows, and these people spend a lot of money to get dressed up, rent limos, and get their pictures taken, all in an effort to pat themselves on the back. The most disgusting part of this is the gift bag that they receive. That bag, this year, is worth around $160, 000. There is so much in that bag that they don't even carry them out anymore...they are delivered the next day. There are people in North America, and of course the rest of the world, that struggle to make house payments and pay other bills, while working a full year. Some people don't have homes, and rely on shelters to survive the winter, let alone to get a hot meal once in a while. Millions of dollars are spent on each Oscar night so that entertainers can revel in their own glory. Today, after sleeping off the huge parties where everything is paid for, some of those people will get back to recording public service announcements about how my $30 can save someone on the other side of the world. Those people are irrelevant to me. Their opinions on how to help people do not matter in the slightest. I know that some of them do a lot to help. Some of them will support a foundation that they have founded, but this seems too self serving for me. Celebrities are disgusting people.

I didn't watch them either. I could care less. I haven't seen many movies that I really want to see lately. I love the Coen Brothers movies, though.

Married with Children

Home Improvement (till season 5)

will never be topped

Electro cars suck (Electaurus is the only exception that crazy car can talk)

Al Bundy is awesome - and he was never afraid to speak his mind, and give his opinion on women - no matter how retarded he looked

Yeah I mean, nobody will ever beat #33 with 4 touchdowns in one game ! for the almighty James K. Polk from Polk High !

Then his famous No Ma'am (N ational Organization of Men Against Women Masterhood *rofl*) club and Jefferson coming up with his Yes M'aam shirt whenever Marcy Dary showed up, good times good times. Kelly has been a hot chick back then. The only sad episode was when the Bug died in the series and I've found out that the dog died in real-life too.

Another famous Home Improvement moment: Tim talks about how women are only playing with dolls and then he asked for a full set of women in his next tooltime episode but only received hate-mails *rofl*

Baltimore PD, and Maryland National Guard should use any means necessary to stop these looters, and those rioting.

Tread carefully. That subject teeters perilously on the edge of political discussion, which has been well documented previously as not being allowed.

I generally don't like coffee, or tea.

I would watch what you're saying. I'm all for having a talk about this but this site isn't the place. I sounded like a mod there lol

I love dogs, and dislike cats.

Is that better?

I don't dislike cats, but I love dogs more.

I'm sure this will tick off some people. Whoever told Robert Plant that he could sing was tone deaf. He can't carry a tune in a 15-ton gravel truck. That band should have just played the music and not let anyone sing. The minute he opens his mouth to sing, he ruins the song. I don't care what song it is, he ruins it when he opens his mouth. It's the reason I hate Led Zeppelin with a purple passion.
