Great PK to end regulation for the second consecutive game. Smith should be first star -- that might have been his most complete game in his career. Legwand, Sheahan and Kindl were all good too.

Officiating was horrendous, but what's a little more adversity for this group? Keep rolling with Jimmy tomorrow. He is playing well and getting wins.

Howard was okay today. He gave up a weak goal, was made to look ridiculous on a penalty shot and made saves that he is supposed to make, that weren't particularly challenging.

Yeah, Bettman has the headset on saying hey guys, we don't want the biggest tv draw and winningest team in hockey for the past 2 decades to get into the playoffs and keep a 20+ year streak going, which means even more coverage. No, not what we want at all, so make calls so the Wings lose. That sounds totally plausible.

To be fair, this is the same Bettman who [insert stupid things he's done, e.g. the Coyotes].

Screw the jimmy haters, he was fantastic today IMO

Yes, screw the people who take an honest rational look at his play and voice their concerns.

The world needs less rational people and could use a few more who blindly praise people based on selecting only the info that supports them and ignoring the info that contradicts their presuppositions.

He was fantastic today. That isn't blind praise. Also, you do realize there are plenty of people here on the opposite end of the spectrum regarding Howard, right?
