GMRwings1983 8,803 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 Yupp, I'm going with my dad as well (his first time too) Would've been nice when we were a better team, but the last year of the Joe is still special. I'm still planning on coming to Calgary and watching a Wings game with you. 1 Detroit \# 1 Fan reacted to this
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 Anyone have experience using Seatgeek? Are you allowed to show tickets on your phone at the gate?
LeftWinger 5,129 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 Are they free? It's the only way I'd go see the s*** show. The summer started out so well...I can't believe we trusted Holland to trade some forwards to make his D better... Won't pay a red cent to go see them play. The more people don't show up, the only way ilitch will learn.
krsmith17 7,191 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it down for a game this season, which sucks because I usually make the trip every year for a couple games, and this being the last season at the Joe, it's going to be tough... Maybe I'll make a last ditch effort to make it happen towards the end of the season, but I don't see it happening with so many other expenses coming up over the next year... BottleOfSmoke 5,965 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 I forget how many Wings fans have never been to the Joe. I hope everyone is able to get to at least one game before it's history 2 NerveDamage and Barrie reacted to this

Jasper84 333 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 I'm in the upper area. Row 10. Will I see a goddamn thing? Upper bowl anything between 1-10 are my favorites. You can see everything from any seat, upper 1-10 are definitely the best in my opinion.
NerveDamage 4,176 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 I got my tickets today, next January I'll be attending games vs Pittsburgh, Montreal, Boston and Rangers. I'm even gonna go to a Griffins vs Cleveland Monsters in Grand Rapids. I'm so excited. 2 BottleOfSmoke and Barrie reacted to this

NerveDamage 4,176 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 Wow. That doesn't sound cheap. Original 6 teams and Crosby. Have fun. I'd like to think I got the best I could with what I paid for. I got 2 tickets in the lower area (sec119 row 9 and sec115 row3) and in the upper level (sec 209 and 109) I purchased 2 in Stubhub and 2 via ticketmaster. the latter one was a pain in the a** and kept having problems until a representative contacted me over the phone. Did you have the same experience I had with Stubhub, where tickets won't be available until the day before the game? Apparently, that's their policy, but I've never used Stubhub before. Apparently, that's their policy, but I've never used Stubhub before. Yep, same here, although I had to contact customer service beforehand and ask about that. with the eticket you can just download it to your phone, a day prior to the game, and show it at the entrance, seems better than having to pay shipping fees or the will call option, where you have to provide the order # + id + credit card at the box office to pick them up. What I didn't like about stub hub is those f***tards that price their tickets in the $5900 range, even upper level seats. I mean, Ice level first row seats, I 'd get a bit of a jack on the price, but upper level, row 15...come on Edited August 30, 2016 by NerveDamage

Barrie 900 Report post Posted September 12, 2016 I always park by Cobo Hall, and walk through there to get to the Joe. I use the washrooms in Cobo before and after the game, so I don't have to wait in line during the game.

Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted October 2, 2016 What are the cheapest that the upper bowl seats get if one was to wait until right before game time to buy them? The views from rows 1-10 look amazing online. I'm seeing around $60/ticket but the game is a few months away. Not sure what folks typically pay.

If you can get those tickets for $60 scoop them up now. The lowest they might go is $50, and that might be like the day before
