MANtha is on pace for 20+ goals in his first NHL season. Even though he didn't play the first 15 games. Not bad at all.

Maybe extrapolating 5 goals is a bit premature at this point.  He's not on pace for 20+ goals though, his gpg would pace to that over a full 82 games, but he won't play 82 games...while you mention he's on pace for that even though missing 15 games, that's not the case.

I have no issues with his production, he's been fine, others may be disappointed if their expectations were unreasonable, which I'm sure there are a few of those around.

I honestly don't care about on pace, he is a rookie who is playing a good game and still learning. One of the few bright spots in my mind. If he scores 15 plus that's just a bonus.
Last years playoffs would have been the best thing for him learning from the magic man

The magic man wasn't at his most magical last season though. You could tell he had had it and his decision to jump ship was already made.

Yup. The fact that Datsyuk asked to play with Mantha and Holland/Blashill sent him down was pure 100% BS. You do have to wonder how much things like that effected his retiring......

He got to play with Datsyuk a good amount of games last year and has been consistently playing with Zetterberg this season, what more can a guy ask for!? Cmon lol. That would be a dream come true for 99.9999% of rookies.

So in other words, you took an opinion you had and like usual tried to sell it as fact.

Also, there is a big difference between a player saying "I enjoy playing with player X" especially if the question asked was "do you like playing with player x". Your comment was that "Datsyuk asked to play with Mantha". I cant even see Datsyuk telling the media this.

We were all here last srping when we all went through all of this. It was discussed heavily on detroits talk radio, Micky talked about it during the games, and I can't remember if it was Keating or Trevor talking about in the studio. But hey whatever.

Heck I even found a mention of the "swedish mafia" on this forum from April 12th or 13th of this past year in the Mantha thread. But again what do I know.

Troll? Honestly I'm starting to wonder if YOU'RE the troll. You keep making these claims on these forums and literally 4-5 people either asked you for a CREDIBLE source and you aren't able to back it up. It's the forum rule to have sources for rumors and claims. Follow it. 

If you don't provide sources and start rumors you're going to get called out. Deal with it. 

The point is there is no link online or in any hard newspaper saying that Datsyuk requested to play with Mantha. If there is then we would love to see the source. If the source is there, then awesome that Datsyuk said that and yes it's questionable why Mantha was still sent down. If the source isn't there then this is nothing but rumors without evidence and the claims are invalid until proven otherwise.

Mantha's goal tonight was pretty slick, he's got some strength in those wrists.

Provide a link to a legit newsource or even this thread from spring u keep talking about. So far youve done neither and its coming off to everyone like ur full of crap. Its your responibility to back up your own claims.

March 26, 2016 Red Wings Vs. Peguins on FSD. 7-2 pens win. Micky Redmond openly discussed Datsyuk returning to Russia next year. Micky said the only thing that may keep him here is the fact he loves playing with Abby and Mantha.
