kipwinger 8,606 Report post Posted December 14, 2023 The return on Gibson will be interesting to me because he's a good goalie, but he's making a lot of money and has a lot of term, and most contenders won't be able to take that contract on without sending something back. This is basically what happened with Chychrun last year at the deadline. Arizona didn't want to take anything back so they had to settle for less. I really don't care about bringing in any forwards considering how well we play offensively. I also obviously like our internal options on defense. Tampa doesn't have much else to offer besides Stamkos (who will be signing with us in the offseason). Motte is a Michigan kid and good friends with Larkin, Copp, and Compher.
