Thought I read somewhere that a big reason why Trouba signed with the Rags was that his wife was doing her med school residency in the NY metropolitan area. But his NMC clause expired and now it's a M-NTC (15 team No-Trade List,) so I think he doesn't really have control over staying in New York anymore. Residency or not. Calgary has said their not doing a full teardown and trying to get back in the playoffs ASAP. I dont expect them to give up any talent they dont have to. With Vladar and Wolf they didnt need Markstrom anymore. I watched Wolf play a lot back in his CHL days. Scored a bunch points for Minnesota his first year, but then the Sharks traded for him to be there PP QB. His season with Sharks went terribly, and Grier just said they won't be re-signing him. From what ive seen he's just like Ghost. Pure offense, terrible defender. However, unlike Ghost, he wouldn't cost us 5 million dollars. We could probably throw league min at him.
