Thanks, Jedi. For what it's worth, site Boosters have been using the new skin (in it's work-in-progress state) as an option since last night. It'll be released soon -- the plan is sometime tonight. As for the Reputation system, I changed the allowances for some member groups. (And yes, I can limit the daily allowances for both positive and negative rep by member group.)

He has barely played with the Sedins all year, they just put him on that line tonight to try and get the Sedins going as they have been slumping, turns out Sammy has a hat trick Burrows has been playing with the Sedins for the majority of the season. Love him or hate him Sammy could always score, he was a 20 + goal scorer on the Wings playing 3rd line minutes and 2nd pp unit !

Please don't feel you have to rush anything. We ALL can wait until you have the time to work on everything. No one here is going to drop dead if the new skin isn't ready or the new wallpaper isn't done, and frankly it's insulting to be so demanding to someone you don't know, for something you don't pay for. Just my $0.02.

I've been a Detroit fan since the mid-80's, so I think differently than fellow Canadians when it comes to sports. Other than seeing the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Toronto and Hamilton, I don't go to Toronto for sporting events, I drive to Detroit for Red Wings and Tigers games. I still don't understand the "It's our game" comments. My response is "So?". Canada still has to earn the victories, it's not a God given right. Personally, as a Canadian and a Hockey fan, I think it's great Hockey is so excepted world wide, and I think the rest of the country should feel the same way. Be proud, not "It's our game". Every country that plays hockey has helped the development and greatness of the game. Plus us Detroit fans see how important Americans, Europeans, and Russians have been to the success of our organization, along with Canadians.

Wrong. He does not play with the Sedin's consistantly, tonight was the first night they had been toghether as a whole line. I was one of the few posters who always stuck up for Sammy, and am glad to see him doing good. People are also incorrect with their statements of him never giving us this type of production, as before tonight's game he would be on pace for 53 points, 1 more than he would have had prorated for 82 games his first season with us and the exact same his second. Given his increase in TOI, it isn't anything remarkable or unexpected... at least to me. EDIT: If you gave Hudler Sammuelsson's minutes he would be on pace for 70+ points, and that is not even taking into account the superior linemate effect (Kesler+Mason>Sammy+Flip)

Did anybody read what I wrote earlier? Jesus guys, Cleary and Filppulas numbers arent falling short of normal!!!! This thread boggles my mind. Typical sky is falling, who can I blame thread. Here it is again... Dan Cleary. He has tallied 40, 42, and 40 points in the past three seasons. Last season he had 40 points in 74 games. This season he has 29 points in 54 games. Ok, a little math. 40/74 =29/x Cross multiply and divide. If he plays 74 games this season, Cleary is on pace for 45 points. Higher than any of his past 3 seasons. Valterri Filppula has 25 points in 39 games, thats a 50 point pace which is 10 points higher than his career high. Cleary has 1 less goal than he had last season in 20 less games. And Filppula has 5 less goals in 41 less games.

Has anyone thought of the possibility that maybe this team just isn't that good this year? It is what it is. They haven't made up for the goals that they lost to free agency. Most if not all the prominent pieces from the past have shown a decline in production. The young guys haven't developed as quickly as predicted. Aww, you're right...........it has to be lack of heart.

I'm a guy so I don't have to worry about that stuff. Doesn't matter. Water bed or Trampoline

Wrong, he was playing awesome from like a few weeks into the season up until he was injured. He wasn't putting up crazy points or anything but he was looking the best I've seen him since 07-08. Right now he is putting up points but not looking too good. But he is carrying around Bert and J-Wil.

Lids is a PPG Defenseman when he is on his game, thats just how awesome he is.

Kronwall is a bit overly creative since he came back from injury.. :S
