Disagree with someone all you want, noones ganna stop ya from doing that, but calling them a ****** because of their opinion (which shows no refelction on you or that person for that matter) seems to make no sense to me. I mean noones going to stop you from continuing to act childish, so by all means go right ahead, after all there's no IQ test that you have to pass to post on these boards, so why have any standards or common courtesy at all, right?

All I know is that the Coyotes are a very good defensive team that's well coached and has a goalie who's a legitimate Vezina candidate. No one should take them lightly. Go Wings! Oh, and this type of conspiracy thinking is going to be impossible to ignore since the NHL owns the Coyotes and they employ the refs. That's why it's not ideal for the league to own a team-- it's a clear conflict of interest. Whether they do something wrong or not people will still have suspicions.

As much as I've restrained my negativity towards the Williams signing all year, this is precisely why I don't get why we bothered to bring him back. What does he really bring to this team? I'd love to be proven wrong by him, but the guy has never been one to show up in the post-season, and he's certainly not a guy who you can count on to bring the physical level of play up in the grittier playoffs. Siging Eaves made all the sense in the world and some at the price. Bert was totally worth the gamble at the price and I still say it's been a good deal for the Wings at $1.5 million. But Jason Williams at $1.5 million? Really? I never got it...

Good news, our PP has been suffering due to only playing with 4 guys out there. Getting a 5th guy in there will surely help.

I've said this before, but if I didn't love the Red Wings, I sincerely doubt I would follow the NHL because it's a garbage league run by morons and it just trickles down to the officiating. The league doesn't know what the rules are and the refs do a terrible job enforcing the perceived rules on their end. I thought last night was a disgrace in general, although the Red Wings definitely got the short-end of the calls (which I expected going into the series playing the league's second team). There was way too much garbage getting called. Ten powerplays combined isn't hockey - it's a specialty teams showcase which unfortunately the Red Wings did poorly at. The Lilja elbowing call was frickin laughable. The Morris goal was a result of an interference penalty they have seemingly called 1000 times this season. Let the players play the game, call the stuff that matters. Ya know, like a blatant high stick to the face which somehow goes unnoticed by eight eyes. Nice priorities NHL: make sure to call five hooking minors 200 feet from the play, but ignore an obvious offense which no doubt changed the game. Hockey is the best sport in the world. It's a shame we have to watch a league run and officiated by incompetent individuals on so many levels.

So we all know by now that Buttman is trying to save the Phoenix franchise. And we all know that the Red Wing-Phoenix matchup will bring a ton of money into Phoenix and the franchise. So how far will Buttman and his cronies go to try to fix the games so it goes 7 full games? We know that Phoenix does not score a ton of goals as they have relied on the shootout to put them where they are. So we just may see a lot of bad penalty calls and power plays for the Coyotes. IMHO, if we see Screw-You-LaRue, Way-To-Go-Leggo, Me-An-Ian-Walsh, Blunder-Land-Sutherland, Marc-Joanie-Cronie and Sad-Brad-Watson as the refs, especially at Jobing.com Arena, I think I would be highly suspicious.

The next time the Redwings lose a series because the other team was better or simply just outplayed them will be the first time according to some of you conspiracy theorists. No wonder the Wings fan base is among the most hated in the league.

Hey, I got an idea. Why don't you hang out in your own teams' web site instead of trolling around in here to piss us off after you got lucky with overrated players, and league backing last year. You will find that consistent greatness is the toughest accomplishment in sports, and is beyond your franchise. Maybe deep down you realize these facts and thats why you hang out in a truly great franchise's site.

Is it always someone else's fault? Does the NHL fix every game? Do they fix every season except for the years that the Wings win? You can't script a hockey game. If it's something blatant that clearly decides a season, people will see it and noise will be made. But all in all, the better team is going to find a way to win a 7 game series. That's why it's seven games, not one game. I don't find myself calling for a conspiracy, but then again "Buttman" rigs every game so my team will win. P.S.
