Wow! That's quite an ability you have! Can you tell me what next week's lottery numbers are too?

Hossa was a perfect fit for this team with his both end play. Too bad that salary issues didn't allow Wings to have both him and the mule

Not Osgoods fault. It hit Salei and changed direction. Can't blame the goalie when he centers himself to the shot and yet it hits one of his own guys and goes a different direction and in. So far, I can't fault Osgood on a blown defensive assignment that results in a goal or a deflection goal. These are the goals that your team has to fight through.

If not for Ozzie, we'd be down 3-0 after the first period.

About as long as ours did when we had a banner-raising ceremony a couple of years ago. How soon we forget. Post #7,000!

That's a stupid statement if I've ever heard one. Seabrook picked the corner. Howard would not have had that at all.

I remember that fight. It was the night of my dad's funeral, and I yelled into the kitchen to my mom that Hossa was fighting and she left all my knitting, southern redneck aunts to run in and watch a hockey fight. Then she went back and was all, "Oh, I just don't like it when they fight. I get so worried that one of them will get hurt. We just got that Hossa boy this year. I really like him..." My aunts thought she was nuts. I don't think that anyone who has played with or against Datsyuk can help but be in awe of him.

In better news though, the Habs scored 2 unanswered goals on Fleury in the 3rd about 30 seconds apart. Habs win. Pens are 0-2.

Their National Anthem singer sounds like something Hitler would listen to. Not very American sounding.

Enjoy the banner raising. The fourth one is special. Just ask some of our guys.

Texting former teammates must take up most of Hossa's time.

Why's everybody pissed at Ozzie for that? It was deflected.

Just looked at the stats...Marty gave up 5 goals on 20 shots. And we worry about Ozzie with 3 on 20? Yikes. Now I'm worried about the Devs against Pittsburgh on Monday. Brodeur pulled, Hedberg in for the 3rd. And on the Devils feed, they're giving props to Dats for his fight last night. They said he was asked, "When was the last time you fought?" He answered, "Fifteen minutes ago."

nhl season prediction thing on some maple leaf blog: http://www.downgoesbrown.com/ October 9, 2010 - The Chicago Blackhawks raise their Stanley Cup banner prior to their game against the Detroit Red Wings. The moment is marred somewhat when Detroit third-liner Kris Draper surveys the rafters and comments "Wow, Chicago, you've won four Stanley Cups? Me too!" they got the 3rd liner part wrong but i laughed

He actually did have surprisingly good form for someone who doesn't fight. Did a great job with balance, protecting himself and giving a few punches of his own. Maybe after practice he and Z have stopped playing keepaway and now they practice fighting. I wouldn't. well, I guess it depends on what you mean exactly. I love that he stuck up for himself, especially against a douchebag like Perry. But he's to valuable to be dropping the gloves more than once every blue moon. Aside from injury potential, it's going to be a win for the the other team almost every single time to get Dats off the ice for 5 minutes. Still, awesome to see.
