    Have you ever watched a hockey game in your life? That fact he got 2 goals last game is no coincidence, even if they weren't spectacular goals. Flip is playing his ass off, in fact he always has, and now he is being rewarded for it. It's long overdue.

    They did this for a few games last year, and it was extremely annoying, obnoxious and distracting. I thought they had chosen against it. Well, unfortunately it looks like they are back at it again. Does anyone know if this is something they plan to do with all the games now? Personally, I can't f'in stand them. As if having big ads on the ice, on the boards, as well as pop up ads on the tv screen wasn't enough...

    Same exact thing happened to my buddy during weight lifting, and what doctors initially thought happened was a cerebral aneurysm. What he told me was it wasn't exactly an aneurysm, but a stroke for one reason or another. Rehab is lined up for the next 3 years, lets hope Pavelec is a bit more lucky than my friend.

    I'm sure he knew what the Wings offered tho. Highly doubt his agent just said no without telling him about it. Salei is better then Lilja anyways. If Lilja got elbowed in the head like Salei did last night he'd be done for the year.

    If anything, the good old multi-repeat commercials are the most annoying. f*** Sam Bernstein, the cross-eyed kid, his shyster son, and the dame. They are way more offensive than anything in/on the rink.

    I agree with everything that you said. I wish they'd go back to having no ads anywhere on the ice. Like watching vintage hockey games. But that will never happen in today's corporate world, where every new arena is named after a company.

    I know you guys are pretty concerned about Datsyuk fighting because of the risk of injury, but I've got to say it was a really cool moment nonetheless. Once in a while you have to stand up for yourself, superstar or no. Plus, as in everything else he does, Datsyuk seemed pretty smart during the fight and got the better of it. I don't want him seeking fights but when a douchebag like Perry comes calling you've got to put him in his place.
