I don't understand this reasoning. He did that 26 times last night. They just didn't look difficult enough or something? And honestly if Ozzy stays consistent but not great for the season, that's enough to carry the Wings a looong way, especially as backup. Him being very good and consistent got the Wings to the Cup finals two years running. I'd take that any day over Fleury's spectacular saves followed by him scoring on himself with his ass. -

Wings are 2-0. Hawks are 0-2. Buy a clue. Face it, your team isn't the same since the epic firesale and mismanagement. I can't BELIEVE Bowman let Neimi walk and signed Turco of all goalies. Talk about a poorly managed club! Only thing lucky was Wings were coming off back-2-back games and too tired to blow the Hawks out of the arena on your ceremony night.... lucky for you, fool -

I agree with everything that you said. I wish they'd go back to having no ads anywhere on the ice. Like watching vintage hockey games. But that will never happen in today's corporate world, where every new arena is named after a company. -
1 pointI know you guys are pretty concerned about Datsyuk fighting because of the risk of injury, but I've got to say it was a really cool moment nonetheless. Once in a while you have to stand up for yourself, superstar or no. Plus, as in everything else he does, Datsyuk seemed pretty smart during the fight and got the better of it. I don't want him seeking fights but when a douchebag like Perry comes calling you've got to put him in his place.
