1 pointThey're just conserving their energy for the 2nd and 4rd. Impressed with Ozzie's play after such a long layoff. I hate to admit that I've fallen into the trap of being more worried about his play than I should be. I still prefer him in net over, say, Marty Turco.

I don't really get the "traditionalist" argument. Nobody is we make permanent changes to our regular jerseys. I think it would be cool if they wore the winter classic jersey a few times a year. Maybe during Sunday home games, kind of like what the Lakers do with their white jerseys. I just checked the wings schedule and they play 6 Sunday home games, which I think would be a good amount to wear a third jersey. -

Detroit should never have a third. They already have a great jersey and have no need to experiment. Also considering they are close to the top when it comes to jersey/memorabilia sales, there is no need to try for that kind of gimmick. -
