Please, tell me another joke because I'm laughing my ass off right now.

Find me a goalie who doesn't give up rebounds. I already know what you are going to say "he gives up more rebounds than any other goalie I have seen!" Try expanding your knowledge base past the Red Wings and watch the goaltending in the NHL in general. The days of the shutdown, dominate goaltender are over, unless you have $6 million. If Howard is really as bad as some are making him out to be then why don't we just bring in Joey. In your opinion he couldn't be any worse than Howard.

howard defenders are no different than osgood defenders. they're convinced that it's all or nothing. either the goaltender is directly responsible for the loss or they aren't. it's literally not possible for both the goalie and the skaters to be bad, right? newsflash: multiple players were s*** tonight, howard being one of them. deal with it.

To quote Bruce Boudreau - "You can't ******* handle adversity? So s***'s not going right lately. ******* get your heads out of your asses and make it ******* work by outworking the opposition."

Some of you guys are over reacting BIG time. Did we lose tonight? Yah. Did we play bad tonight? Absolutely not. The Wings played a really good game tonight and they can take quite a bit from this game; moving in the right direction. Here is what I thought: - the 4th line was FANTASTIC once again - Pavs had an off night, but I read his interview where he said his hand still bothers him so no beef there - I thought Cleary had a really bad game in my opinion; he seems to slow down Pavs and Hank and shot the puck from terrible areas - the refs were TERRIBLE beyond belief - Howard showed once again that he is not the answer for this team with that first goal he let in off that terrible rebound; the theme continues where howard is unable to keep the boys in games - I still believe that Babs has to keep Pavs and Hank together. Why? Because when they get used to each other again and they get their chemestry back they are the best line in hockey. Also, near the end of the game Babs put HOmer on their line and they were much better ... so I think that line will get going starting next game - Modano and Abby had a good game I thought; I like them together - Overall it was a great game where 2 key things costed the Wings: Howard's terrible rebound and the terrible missed call on Nick... but that is no need to panic and start calling for heads here... the Wings will be fine as always

The issue isn't goaltending. It's the offense only putting up one goal and showing zero effort. Stop using goaltending as a crutch.

I honestly don't give a s*** about his intentions at this point. His victim has a broken ******* neck and severe concussion. Did anyone care that Bertuzzi didn't mean to break Moore's neck? Did anyone care that the guys piling on Bert and Moore afterwords almost certainly worsened Moore's neck injury? Nope. If I plow into the back of a guy's car on the highway my insurance company doesn't give two s***s about my intent.

Not that I don't appreciate A LOT of the video work that you do but, not that you've even broken this hit down, if you look at video hard enough, you can see whatever you want to see out of it. The game is played in a speed faster than replay, screenshots, and slow-motion... There are certainly a lot of players out there that deliberately make bad decisions or premeditated actions on the ice that lead to injury. Other players also make split second decisions that involve injury whether there is intent or not. As I said in the previous thread, I think Chara's received all the punishment he'll get. 5 minutes for interference. Game Misconduct. I'll leave it at that... Except to disagree and say that Claude was a terribly dirty player... although just like Chara's hit tonight, I'm not sure he meant to rub Draper out into the boards like that.

Number 47 out of his little blue book, "101 Bulls*** Excuses to Feed to the Media." I'm all for trying different lines to see if something gets going, but for pete's sake, the team has been jumbled up for half the season because of injuries. Babs, maybe if you played with the same lines longer than 2 games, they'd actually develop some chemistry and generate some offense. You had a great line with Hudler-Datsyuk-Cleary, why did you split them? I did watch the game. And I did see the part where Helm was our main asset on each of the Kings' power plays, eating up seconds with his puck possession, and when he seemed to be the only one fighting for the puck along the boards, and how he seemed to be the only player on the team that knew and display the meaning of "hustle" and "urgency." Sorry, but I didn't get all that off a score sheet.

Really? Howard cost this team the game with one bad goal? It wasn't the inability of the offense to sustain any reasonable offensive effort? It's hard to blame the goaltender in a 2-1 game. One thing cost the Wings the game tonight: NO OFFENSE.

then they wouldn't notice all the rebounds flying off of howard that don't directly lead to goals against you know? cause there's like... a lot.

Datsyuk is having a horrible game in my opinion.

How in the hell did the refs miss that? The puck was right along the boards, so it's safe to assume that at least ONE of the refs would be looking in that general direction, right? Right?
