So we will have back to back playoffs with a team overcoming a 3-0 series lead. Wings begin by winning tonight, then Sunday in San Jose they will win an overtime thriller. Back to the Joe for game 6, Johan Franzen's hat trick leads Wings past sharks while tying the series. Game 7 is tied 3-3 in third when Dan Cleary breaks the tie and the Wings hold on and Win the game and the series!!!

Thanks guys. I guess my earlier post touched a raw nerve in some LGW members. I understand . . . and it was not my intention. As a Sharks fan it's not always easy to come over here and keep things friendly. Detroit has always been like a more successful older brother to us and we'd like to see our boys drink from the big shiny silver thing someday soon, just like you have so many times over the years. Any way, good luck tonight. I wouldn't mind seeing this series go a few more games.

I'm not ready to give in yet. I'm not ready to change my allegiance to Boston yet. This can't be the end. I know that eventually it will come to an end, but not yet. One more night, guys, that's all I ask. It makes me think of something my mom said to me a couple months before she passed away. "I haven't fought this long and this hard to give up this easily." She was talking about fighting cancer, but I think these words fit the boys well. Don't go down without a fight, boys.

You may recall that you guys whipped our asses pretty good in Game 4 last year. If, however, the Sharks learned their lesson from last year's beatdown and look like they're going to get the sweep this time around, enjoy watching what could be the final games for some of the classiest players in the league. Youll never stand next to your girlfriend and hear that your team won the cup for the first time in over 4 decades. You will never be laid up in a hospital and watch you team win the cup after a horrible motorcycle accident and you will never get to hope your runaway dog comes back while you watch your team win the cup in 2008 and then have him show up the next day. You may love your team My team won and it won A LOT. My team changed my life, my team gave me a reason to live, my team brought a family together, and my team gave me a reason to believe, Your team lost. Even if they win they cant do what the Red Wings have done no matter what. Heres to the Wings and heres to the guys that gave me so many great memories.

Can we win the series? Yes. WILL we win it? I seriously doubt it.
