Bertuzzi should be benched. He is abysmal right now and does not deserve ANY minutes...let alone top-six minutes.......Fil was actually playing really well, why not put him on the Z line???

Here's what I want to see. Franzen - Zetterberg - Filppula Hudler - Datsyuk - Brunnstrom Cleary - Helm - Eaves Ericsson - Abdelkader - Bertuzzi Lidstrom - White Kronwall - Stuart Kindl - Commodore

Great that he split them up but I would like to see the reasoning to why these combos. They don't make sense, and Cleary for the first time looked decent and he was on line three and to demote Nyquist already...It doesnt matter but Id like to see something like: Flippula-Datsyuk-Hudler Nyquist-Zetterberg-Franzen Abdelkader-Helm-Bertuzzi Cleary-Emmerton-Eaves With these we have Defensive mindedness on every line, we have potential secondary scoring on the bottom two lines and two great top lines IMO.

Duh, maybe you overlooked the fact that the record was stated because the OP pointed to our record as an indicator that trades need to be made. Nice oversight there. Self owned? It's a valid comparison if someone is talking about a team's record this season after 7 games that the comparison be made to a Cup winning season after 7 games which was worse than this. IMO Franzen is the only player that would yield a good-enough return. Franzen for Parise and a first or second would be good. I love Mule, but I'm worried about his contract length. Maybe throw one of Eaves, Emmerton, etc in for Clarkson as well. IMO no trade is needed, but if a trade is made I'd like it to be a big move.

I can't believe they sent him back after 11 minutes TOI in one of the worst, most boring games ever. Pure madness has set over this team.

Well there you go, every line can play. Sitting guys like Hudler, Cleary and Bertuzzi does no good. They gotta get going if were gonna win games, sit redundant players and try to score some frickin goals. We've shown this year we can play defence (not in the last 5 minutes of the 3rd but oh well) and that Howard is a monster this year. Lets score some goals, and let Jimmy take care of stopping the pucks. He's allowed 7 goals the past 4 games, and only won one of those games. That's less then 2 goals a game, thats more then enough to win, especially for this team.

Well, playing with lazy and lazier should really get Z going. Get Bertuzzi out altogether and put Fil on Z's line instead.

Lame that he's back to GR so soon, he barely got a chance to do anything, and with the little time he did have he made actually made a few decent plays. Its not like anyone else is really competing for that spot right now.
