Agreed. These premadonnas are a diamond dozen. It's a doggy dog world out there so these kids shouldn't be taking stuff like this for granite.

Hasek wants to play in the NHL again

I can't think of another goalie who was as competitive as Hasek. Having him on a team with Shanahan and Yzerman was unreal as far as heart went. And I'm with everyone else. I know this would be a bad move, but Hasek is just so great that I'd still want him back.

Hasek wants to play in the NHL again

even though he is really old he is really competitive, imagine you had a floater on your team cough Fr -cough-ranzin... and you have Dom backing up that night and your lazy ass shift is over and you skate back to the bench and then you get ripped in half by Hasek. All the guy ever wanted to do was win, theres nothing wrong with a guy like that on your team.

Hasek wants to play in the NHL again

This is one of those things where I know it would be a bad idea but I just like him so much. I'd just like to see a Canuck get flipped like Gaborik.

Russian sports paper "Sovetskiy Sport" quoted Ilya Kovalchuk's mom: "Pavel Datsyuk played in the Worlds with an injury." I'm so happy for him. He got his first gold medal for Russia, and was one of the key players on that team. I didn't think I could admire this man any more

Lol Hasek is so talented I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if he came back for fun and won the Vezina.

Hasek wants to play in the NHL again

It's not like he's been sitting around doing nothing. As a backup? Sure. I'd be more confident in him than a lot of others out there.

    2012 World Ice Hockey Championships

Uh, so that must be the reason why the all-NHL US and Canadian squads went home after the quarterfinals? Where the poor dears too bored to play against such inferior competition? The champion, team Russia, only had 8 NHL players on its 25 men roster. And not all of them were named Alexander or Evgeni

If Pasha took Semin under his wing, I would think that the discipline problem would straighten itself out. Congrats to Pasha!

Hate him or love him - Semin fit like a glove on Pavs wing. If his pricetag is low enough (4.5) and the terms short I wouldnt be upset to see him on the Wings next year. Weve taken on projects/reclaimation projects before ... and hes probably the youngest and most talented renaissance man Hollands ever given a career 2nd life to.

although I would love to see ANYTHING replace Hudler, but isn't that what Parise is supposed to be? I really don't understand all this, offer this guy and contract, probably re-signing Holmstrom gonna go hard after Parise....Nyquist here full time. Emmerton and Mursak have ZERO options to GR, just where is Holland going to put all these forwards? Not to mention wanting Lidstrom and Suter and Smith here permanently. There is only room for 23 players, maybe Holland is just getting back up plans or maybe he plans on getting rid of some players from last season. Personally, I'd rather keep Miller and Eaves over Bertuzzi and Cleary...Maybe Eaves is done? I just have a weird feeling that a ton of us fans are going to be disappointed come July 2nd when Holland doesn't score the two players he absolutely HAS to get to turn this team back in the right direction...

This may be a bit extreme but if Holland signs Hasek as a Back-up or any other roster spot on this team I'll officialy call for Holland's Head on a Platter for examination.

    San Jose Sharks

Looks like their team is improving each and every year. I can track back to three years ago when their third line center was Wellwood and they just traded for Boyle. Pavelski was youngser back then. Next year Couture emerged and they signed Malhotra. Still no Cup. Now they have excellent three-centers punch in Thornton, Couture, Pavelski and they just signed big body Handzus. In addition to that they traded for Burns, signed him, and signed White as well. I see then way better than they were last year. Personally, I think there is no way for us to get past them in the play-offs with Helm and Abdelkader as 3rd and 4th line centers. So, the actual question. Does someone see them as champions next year? To be honest, I do. I wouldn't bet a dime if we meet them in the play-offs.
