The difference between mrazek's inconsistency and Howard's is that Howard is a vet. What you see is what you get with Howard. The sky is the limit for Mrazek. Yeah, he is 23. That's what's so excitin. He is only gonna keep getting better. The way he bounces back after a bad start speaks volumes about the kid.

I like Flip but if you're told your entire NHL career by two different teams that you need to shoot the puck more, at some point you think you'd actually do it. Flip has 89 shots on goal for the year. On the Wings that puts him about equal to Kyle Quincey who has 87. Drew Miller has 90.

Julien is BY FAR the biggest whiner among NHL coaches.

Sad thing is, the Red Wings were the much better team for most of the game and still didn't win. They just look very fragile when things start going against them. Had a ton of confidence and then lost it in the third. Howard needs to start on Saturday, though. Mrazek blew this one, which is two of the past three games, he hasn't been very good.

First goal, meh. Second goal, I'm sorry but I'm not blaming Petr. He was aggressive, he steps out because for whatever reason NO ONE IS THERE, and then the puck gets behind him and THREE Red Wings can't clear it and the ONE Bruin manages to get it. Third goal all him. To me should have only been two, but even then, we are only getting a point. We turtle the entire 3rd period playing not to lose, I don't understand that. It hasn't worked in the past...what...how many years? We always let in a goal when we face a 6 on 5 late in the game. Go for the jugular and put them the hell down.
