Great signing. I would have preferred to sign him longer term, but I knew Mantha wanted a short term prove-it deal, which is great to see from a young player. He knows he has a lot more to give, and I expect him to show it this season. With that, we have $2.8M (plus Franzen's $3.9M) to sign Larkin. I'd love to see Larkin get 6-8 years at around $6M. I expect it to be shorter term as well though unfortunately.

Right? He's traveling and golfing. Not like he's at home in pain. He'll play.

Nahhh it's in Scotland. f*** Scotland. Americans and Scots are natural enemies. Like Englishmen and Scots. Or Welshmen and Scots. Or Scots and Scots. Damn Scots, they ruined Scotland.

I gave u confused face cuz. I can't neg u. I like it to. And I think he earns a bigger payday in 2:years. Open up the checkbook.

hope he can score 30+ this year

Not bad, and not too surprising. AA and Mantha both score at about 58%, and both are lazy and suck.

I agree that they could likely do better than Nyquist, especially being a pending UFA, but I think they could do better than Pacioretty too, for the same reason. I'm just saying that I personally wouldn't pay much more than Nyquist to get Krug. Nothing against Krug, he's a very good defenseman, but he'll be 28 this year and a UFA in two years. Not the kind of player I think we should be giving up major assets for. If the Bruins don't want to re-sign him in two years, by all means, go after him then, but right now, stay the course.

I’m just happy enough to see Zetterberg’s back is healthy enough to golf.. As for Karlsson, I don’t think it’s out of the question to think he might consider coming here in free agency if we offered a competitive contract. Here’s to hoping we get the chance.

The Athletic: Torey Krug Total speculation, but The Athletic is suggesting, due to their depth on D, that the Bruins should trade Krug for help at RW. They need another right winger behind Pastranak. Who's probably available at RW? DING DONG, Gustav Nyquist Who's from Livonia and captained the MSU hockey team? DING DONG, Torey Krug I'm not sayin... but I'm sayin

I don't wanna get peoples hopes up but.... That's Cleary, Zetterberg, Filppula, and Karlsson all golfing together. Not the first time either. Karlsson seems to be pretty close friends with a lot of the Red Wings (God bless you Swedish Mafia). Karlsson is coming from an absolute mockery of a franchise, with a hated owner, and a toxic situation in the lockerroom. Despite the recent lack of talent, the Wings are still a very prestigious franchise, with an esteemed owner, and classy group of guys in the lockerroom. I'm just saying, maybe Karlsson will not only be looking to join a talented team, but also a team he will feel proud of and comfortable on. I think the Red Wings definitely offer the later. Alfredsson did it... Side note: Check out the course they're on. Top kek

Happens every training camp... I just hope Zetterberg has one last year in him... I also hope Zadina gets a full year on Hanks wing... I also also hope Z senior helps Z junior win the Calder Trophy that he got robbed of 16 years ago, while Z junior helps Z senior hit the 1000 point milestone.

Yzerman was lazy and he sucked. Should've traded him for Yashin when we had the chance.

Marc Bergevin and Peter Chiarelli are still GMs.

Ok now Blashill should play AA more then ...oh wait Blashill is a totally incompetent NHL coach ...see you on the 4th line

Maybe, but all indications up to this point have shown that he doesn't have the work ethic/attitude necessary to elevate his game past where it is now. I hope I'm wrong or I hope other GMs are still interested in him on this contract so they can move him for defense.
