Big fan of the lines for tonight's game. The top two are producing and shouldn't be messed with. Ras-Glen-Bert seems like they'd have decent offense and would be miserable to play against. And Vanek-De La Rose-Frk should end up playing very little, but may provide a reasonable amount of offensive pressure in a limited role. At the very least it's starting to look like fans are getting what they wanted for years when we complained about not wanting/needing a "shutdown line". These are four lines with decent offensive potential. Edit: Also, Ericsson is a healthy scratch again. For those who never thought that would ever happen.

It's not the off-season any more, but... I really think Chicago wins this trade (unfortunately)... Strome could end up being a bust, but I think there's still a ton of potential there, and he's still only 21. To get Perlini as well, is a big win in my opinion. I thought Chayka was going to be a good GM, but he's made some really questionable trades so far in his tenure. Shipping out Duclair, Domi and now Strome / Perlini in short order... Not good. It's fun to see GM's being active (trigger happy), but I'm glad our GM is a little more patient (trigger shy)...

Drummondville vs Halifax this afternoon, and Veleno had a goal and two assists and McIsaac had a goal and an assist. Veleno is now 5th in the league in points with 38 (17 goals, 21 assists) in 23 games and 4th in points per game with 1.65 PPG. McIsaac is now 8th in the league in points for defensemen with 18 (6 goals, 12 assists) in 17 games and 4th in points per game with 1.06 PPG.
