Here's hoping for 2 close/competitive regulation losses to end the season to improve the lottery odds... at least with the way Rangers ownership pissed off the league they probably won't be gifted yet another lottery "win". Maybe we won't drop max spots this year... FINGERS CROSSED!

For the 1st rounder. The Caps could easily fall off a cliff next season. Pretty old squad. That pick could be a good one in a deep draft. Plus Yzerman could flip Cokenoseup for more picks with salary retention. Not happening. But not a crazy idea either.
