I guess the latest from Maple Leafs fans is Connor McDavid is going to sign in Toronto when he becomes a UFA. I was called tool, when I said that won't happen. I guess it'll work because Tavares and Marner off the books soon. McDavid will want $15 Million a year. I guess Leafs fans learned nothing the past 7 years paying 4 forwards $40 Million? They think paying 3 forwards $40 Million will win them a Cup? It's very difficult to have a reasonable hockey conversation in the Toronto market, Leafs fans are just plain stupid

I sure hope ASP turns out to be a stud because Filip Hronek is #realgud.

It was signing Holl this summer for 3 years that made no sense... nothing against him or his play, it made a crowded blueline more crowded.

The playoffs let you wreck shops? I forgot, it’s been so long… I don’t care if he’s elevated himself one level above absolute suckage. If Stephen can get out from having him on this team for two more seasons after this , he should.

I've actually really liked Chiarot this season. I might be wrong but it seems like Lalonde's defensive system really stresses keeping the opposition to the outside, keeping the crease clear, and letting Lyon see shots. He's a good enough fundamental goalie to make saves he can see. If this is the case, then Chiarot has value as a guy who can PK, move bodies from in front, can win battles on the boards, and who can use his skating to advance the puck out of the defensive zone. He definitely blunders from time to time pinching when he shouldn't but I'll take that for everything else he brings. I'd just rather see him paired with someone a little stronger than Petry (although apparently this pair has been quite good at suppressing high-danger chances against).
