sure thing. 2008 Hawaii football schedule

Yes, it shaped up that way but go back to when they were 0-2. Normally a start like that eliminates you from the BCS title game, but as stated before...this is not a normal season. I give you credit for making a bold prediction like that. Of course you made that prediction after the appy state game, not the oregon game. Here is your post that everyone gave you a hard time about:

Apparently I did...for whatever reason I thought it had been after Oregon. Regardless, I maintained it was 'possible' up until the Wisconsin loss, albeit unlikely.

true, but I was referring to big blue in this case. Link

just think... app state could have been avoided

I did not know about that.

To be honest, Michigan probably would have beaten them soundly if the game was in Ann Arbor. Hawaii always gets the 12th man advtage on games on the island, with the 12th man being the refs.

Greg Schiano has interviewed for the Michigan job. He may get it. If that happens, I'd be thrilled. Possibly even a better hire than one Leslie E. Miles.

I agree, but sadly he just rejected it. Good for him though. Shows what kind of guy he is to turn something that is better then Rugters in every way. Back to the drawing board :(:(

The whole, "not getting Les Miles" thing has really depressed me as a Michigan fan. I don't see how anyone can still have hope of him coming to Michigan. The guy just signed an extention through 2012. He's not going anywhere. Im not gonna be able to get out of this Maize and Blue depression until we find a candidate that is atleast an upgrade to Lloyd Carr. We can't afford to take a step backwards...

Nope

"I was contacted earlier this week about the Michigan coaching vacancy, but I have decided to remove my name from consideration," Schiano said Friday in a statement. "I look forward to our third straight bowl game and to bringing a national championship to Rutgers and the state of New Jersey. I will have no further comment."

Man...you'd think the winningest program in college football could have any coach they wanted.

Schiano was never leaving Rutgers...Miles may not have even been wanted. Kelly and Ferentz are the other two supposed front-runners and while I don't know the Ferentz situation, Kelly is yet again extremely unlikely.

That doesn't mean jack! Read into Miles new contract. What does he have? He once again has a 1.25 million dollar buyout to Michigan. If Michigan wants to go hard after him they can get him if he wants to come here.

Maybe business-wise it doesn't mean jack. But Les Miles always seams to portray himself as a hard working, honest, look you in the eye kind of guy. And he's already told several different sources(on camera) that not only is he the coach of LSU, he'll be the coach of LSU next season. So IMO at the very least, he will coach their atleast one more year. No way he goes back on all those interviews and statements. I have officially lost hope on snagging Miles. Cause you're just gonna set yourself up for another disappointment.

4 championships in 5 years, a 40 game winning streak. what a great run for GV, we will be back with a vengeance next season after a loss today. its sad, but we will be back

Yes we will. That was a tough loss, but you have to hand it to NW MIzzou, that running back was great. I stopped watching the game when the Lakers had them backed up to the 2, and their RB broke off the 98 yard TD run.

And it was complete crap that the game wasn't in Allendale. The Lakers have the #1 ranking all year, go undefeated, but get a 2 seed in the playoffs? Bulls***. And what a coincidence that the AD for the Bearcats is one of the guys who decides the seeding.

Which is still a higher seeding than NWMSU. The NCAA must be the only institution that hands home-field advantage to the underdog.

There are 881 Heisman Trophy voters. One of them thought Chris Long should win it. Interesting. 12 more thought he should at least be at the ceremony. Also interesting. I wonder who the one guy was.

Oh, and for the record, the only reason Glenn Dorsey won all those awards (Butkus, Lombardi, etc.) is because he plays for LSU. Straight bulls*** is what it is. Quite honestly, UVA might not be bowling, and certainly wouldn't be playing on New Year's, without Chris Long. Extremely rare is the defensive lineman who has that kind of impact.

And, the trainwreck known as UM's coaching search goes on.

LSU AD says of Miles moving to Michigan: 'It's over'

Speculation remains Michigan, still pursuing a coach to replace Lloyd Carr, covets Miles and might want to make a run at him.

Bertman does not understand why. Miles has signed a contract, after all.

"There's a bias as to why would a guy would stay at LSU when he could go to Michigan," Bertman said Monday. "I'm here to tell you it's a better job. It's more money. It's the only school in the state. It's a wonderful place. His wife loves it here, he loves it here.

"Les Miles was very close with (legendary former Michigan coach) Bo Schembechler. If Bo Schembechler were alive today, I don't think (Michigan) could have gotten Miles. Not because he doesn't like Michigan. He loves Michigan. But he also loves it here, too. The pay here is going to be more than the highest paid guy in the Big Ten. Money isn't the answer. Les isn't even a money guy. I think Les likes it here. His wife likes it here. His kids like it here. The bias that how could anybody not come to Michigan? Michigan is a storied school, but the guy is already invested here."

I love it. If Miles bolts for UM after all his proclamations of staying at LSU, he'll make Nick $aban look loyal and the LSU AD look like a fool. If he stays, he makes UM look foolish for continuing to go after a guy they had no chance to get and for obviously not having any sort of plan for their coaching search.

I don't believe a word of this Miles stuff. He said U-M contacted him so they could hear his thoughts on the search? Yeah right! That's why colleges have committees to start with. They were talking money, and their open job...no question about that. Won't be shocked if Miles comes back home after the bowl game.

One paper says that, the other paper says this. Does anyone really know what is going on?

Miles contacted by Michigan last week

I also think that if Miles leaves for Michigan, all the dominoes will fall in the SEC. Spurrier heads to LSU in order to get back at Florida and Saban because he is Saban, leaves for the South Carolina job because he cant coach in one spot too long. And this was before the whole Houston Nutt thing too. around and around they go,.
