Martin is turning michigan into a joke so quick..

Miles..Schiano..Rich Rod.. Seriously.. There not going to switch from a Succeful school to come to michigan, and take on the hightend expectations of the fans when they are at a school that they are comfortable with and enjoy..

Shoot for Hooke or Kelly..

Hooke is at ball state, no doubt in my mind he would come to michigan.. might not be top scale..but the search is over.

Kelly.. Might not, probaly wouldnt. considering he just accepted the Cinci job last year.and he is a BC fan, im sure BC is his ideal job.. Id personally love Kelly to come here.

I think the potential coaches are scared about how weak our team is going to be next year and dosnt want to take on such a large task..

No Henne, dosnt sound like much, but theres a big drop off, from Henne to Mallet.. No Hart..enough said.. No Manningham,Arrington.. Matthews and Hemmingway will do fine.. Long,Krause.. Anchors of our O-Line Gone.. No Crabe. We already dont have a LB core.. now this.. No Adams. Our CB sucked as is..

Michigan needs to suck it up. and spend the money on a big time coach.. they make so much freaking money from the bighouse.. they need to stop being stingy *******. and dish out the cash.

Michigan's athletic department makes 17 million dollars a year. That's profit, even after all the non-revenue generating sports. I believe that's second highest in the nation. The athletic department is printing money.

But, I have no doubt that the powers that be at Michigan just assumed as soon as Lloyd retired, there'd be 10 high-profile coaches lined up at the big pit wanting the job and willing to take a pay cut for it.

Yup, no doubt about that. Joke is on them now.....

Yeah, I was hoping Devin Thomas would stay. He's only had one good season. But, if he can have a good showing at the combine and get picked on the first day, that makes MSU as a whole look good.

I've heard that Pryor wants to play basketball as well. If that's true, wouldn't make much sense for him to go to UM ;)

On the contrary. He could start as a freshman on both teams. Might be riding the pine at OSU while their basketball team makes another deep run and Boeckman finishes up his eligibility.

Michigan has a terrible basketball team tho. Can he really make that much of a difference at both? Football yes, basketball no IMO. The basketball team has too many problems.

Yes it does. MSU has always had a history of having good receivers at the school. Thomas is just the latest flavor. Thomas could have improved his skills more with one more year tho.

Next season should really show if Hoyer is a good qb or just average. Wonder who would be next in line to take Hoyer's spot. Dixon, Foles?

Like what? Losing? For now. That's temporary. In case you haven't noticed, Michigan is an extremely young team learning a whole new system. There's nothing going on now that we didn't see coming a mile away. The team starts two freshmen and two sophomores. In the nine-man rotation, there is one senior and six underclassmen.

Next year, those freshmen and sophomores are sophomores and juniors. Pryor can jump right into the starting spot vacated by Ron Coleman. He'd be perfect. And with his talent, you think he can't make a difference?

I think he should focus on playing football. Drew Henson focused on playing baseball and then football and now he is no good in either sport. Pick a sport. Stick to it.

What about David Cone? Think he will start at Michigan??

coneart_102499afp.jpg

LOL!! I didn't know Henton was that bad. I actually thought he was suppose to be decent. If there are any college QB's worse then the Coner I feel bad for them.....

I agree with Dantonio on Thomas (and the same can go for Arrington)...Neither are household names. Basically only Big 10 fans know about both of them. If both would have stayed they could have become hyped up through out the year to the nation.

Heh, the funny thing about David Cone the football player is that he could be a dead ringer for The Shermanator in American Pie.

There was a better one during his recruitment but I can't find it right now.

Threet will be the starter if we don't get Pryor though. He was an Elite 11 QB the same year as Mallett. They're pretty similar. If we do get Pryor, they could still be the Leak/Tebow combo I guess....

I'm pulling for Threet, but don't get me wrong I want Pryor and we need him bad!

I heard that the Spartans are trying to get this last season listed as a medical red shirt for Foles. I don't know what happened, but hope that he gets the redshirt granted.

After Thomas's performance at the bowl game, it was clear he was not ready for the next level and needed another year in college. I got the impression from interveiws that it was Thomas's dad that was the main suporter of going pro. I see him as a third round draft pick.

Signing day is tomorrow! I expect Rodriquez to finish strong, but sadly I don't think it will include Pryor.

Congrads to HTRW in advance for Pryor

Ditto. We're going to have an amazing class, especially considering the coaching change in there, but I'd be beyond shocked if Pryor came to Michigan at this point. Hard to complain about the group we've got though.

Tongue in Cheek Sour Grapes: Pryor will fit in nicely under OSU's salary cap.

;) Hey, one of the guys did say during his recruitment that it's "more of a business down there".

Pryor has gone from signing tomorrow to not signing to signing for sure to not signing back to signing and now he's 100% not signing because he wants to visit PSU officially. I assume this means he'll head out to Oregon as well and get some of that Cam Colvin/Malik Hairston money love. Unreal.

Yeah, pryor is not deciding tomorrow, I read on Freep, he has eliminated Oregon, and this writer apparently doesn't like the Ducks...

I swear I did not alter a word of this article...

http://freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID...heme=SIGNINGDAY

Terrelle Pryor, the nation's No. 1 recruit, apparently won't sign Wednesday after all.

He told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review late Tuesday night that he doesn't plan to sign a national letter of intent on Signing Day.

"I'm 100 percent sure I'm not signing," Pryor told the Tribune-Review. "It's a tough decision and I'm still trying to decide between Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State."

Pryor confirmed he eliminated Oregon and informed the f*** coaching staff of the decision.

Pryor won't make his college decision Wednesday, but he will still meet with the media, according to Jeannette coach Ray Reitz.

Both of Pryor's parents talked to the Tribune-Review, indicating the family had discussed Terrelle's decision, but didn't come to a consensus.

"When we talked (Tuesday morning), I gave him my choice and he gave me his," Pryor's father Craig told the paper. "They weren't the same. But it's his decision."

Craig's choice wasn't Ohio State, but he reportedly didn't elaborate further.

Terrelle's mother Toni said he was 50/50 about making his decision.

"It stresses me out to see him stressed out," she told the Tribune-Review. "I don't care where he goes. I just want him to go where he'll be happy and content."

Pryor has until April 1 to make his decision. Wednesday is merely the first day a recruit can officially sign, not the last.
