Brashear is a complete and utter coward. Bogosian is just a kid trying to make his way in this league and that was a perfectly clean check. Brashear was just taking out his frustrations after his team got their asses handed to them. I really hope Karma pays a visit to Brashear soon.

haha brashear is a beast but whatever its nice to see fights in hockey and he could have backed down if he wanted to even though it would have been stupid and embarassing

I don't even know for sure that they'll hand out fighting majors, but the Ducks came back to beat the Stars and as the final horn sounds, Ott cross-checked Niedermayer to the back a few times. Giguere goes after Ott and has him in a headlock when Moen skates in and just starts pummeling Ott. Good times.

 Belak. Tootoo wasn't happy either at all after a boarding that didn't get called. He ripped the bandage off so he could exact some justice. I've never seen Brashear get completely KO'd like that before.

Ellis STOLE a point in this game. He completely and utterly robbed Ovechkin several times and had 42 saves.

Id call that a KO rather than a TKO.

Brashear got KTFO!

Sorry guys, but that wasn't a KO, it was a TKO. And yes it does make a freaking difference. Brashear got off the ice on his own power.

What makes that fight amazing is that Brashear has been in the league 10 plus years, and that was the worst loss of his career. Truly amazing what he's accomplished as a fighter. Then again, it's only recently that he's opened up more as a fighter, so I could see it coming when he ditched his hugging style.

You don't need to be carried off the ice on a stretcher for something to be a KO.

No, but when a guy goes down and then immediately gets back up, there can be no argument that it was a KO. Brashear wasn't on the ice long enough for anyone to reasonably argue that. Otherwise, there's no difference between that and a TKO.

Yeah, I agree with you. I just thought by your other post maybe you thought for something to be a KO a guy had to be out cold for minutes or something.

Hands down fight of the year, lock the thread :beerbuddy:

That was an awesome fight and in that fight near the end Dorsett broke his hand/finger. He was out for several weeks with that injury and if you notice there is a point when the two stop punching and come close. Well at that point Carcillo could tell Dorsett's hand broke so he asked him if he wanted to stop. Dorsett being the nutcase that he is told him hell no and they went back into it for a bit longer. Crazy buggers!
