This is the s*** I hate. Ozzy let in a ******* awful goal right at the end of the period. Then trolls like yourself crawl out to pile on, and suddenly every goal he's let in is awful.

I saw two bad goals but I can see how some folks may see otherwise on the second one. Also, I know this wasn't addressed at me, but frankly Osgood is asking for trolls to tear him up because he lets in goals that he's expected to save in what seems to be every game he plays.

I hope we go for blood in the 3rd. f*** the Hawks, lets show them that when we meet in the playoffs it'll be a different story and that right now, we're gonna beat the s*** out of you. I mean, at best Bertuzzi/Datsyuk will get a goal or two, no one else on the Wings can score. Eaves and Miller are the only other guys that have had a scoring touch this season.

Normally when he lets in a five hole goal it looks different than that. He seemed to be struggling to get into butterfly position on that play (it bounced of both of his pads and in).

What a load of crap. These shots that they're scoring on: If the Red Wings took those shots, you'd hear Mickey talking about how "you can't expect to score in this league with those kind of shots." Except against Detroit!! This game is OVER.

Just out of curiosity, if the Wings miss the playoffs, will there be anybody willing to make a deal for our "playoff tested" players like Draper, Maltby, and (yes, yes) Osgood?

the boys managed to hang in there for quite a time....but well, with only one line that provides some offensive thread you can´t beat these hawks, unless you have a really good goalie in net.....well, more of a swiss cheese tonight, on a good night he has the first one too, and the other two wre soft as hell.

maybe next game, with a little more puck-luck and a goalie in net, unless 44-13-96 put on some magic in the 3rd.

How do you explain his start to the season.... or all of last season?... He's off when he's starting every game, and he's off when he's starting sporadically (which is actually a change... it used to be an asset of his that he could come in and play well with the occasional games... like when we had Hasek).

Osgood has always struck me as a severely emotionally weak goalie (like Legacy.. tho not as extreme). His lows are really low and his highs are really high... if the consistency was there he'd be a hall of famer.. but alas.

To be clear, I'm ******* pissed that Ozzy let in a terrible goal. I'm sick of his inconsistency. And I don't expect people to be happy about it, or positive, or not extremely angry.

But I'm sick of the same douchebags lurking during games, then if Ozzy lets in a bad one, they make posts about it. Yet they don't make any other contributions to the GDT. They just wait for Ozzy to f*** up so they can celebrate. Like I said, they're trolls who might as well be Chicago fans.

I don't think it's fair to pile on the team and bash them for playing poorly. This is what is gonna happen when the best team in the conference faces off with over half of an AHL team.

That 3rd goal on Ozzy was a dagger.

We will eventually be healthy again and we will pay the hawks back when it will hurt the most: In April/May.

This is pretty much what I expected. A 'Wings team with no Zetterberg, Franzen, Flip, Williams, Kronwall, Ericcson, Cleary, or Lilja and a cold goaltender who doesn't turn it on until April against arguably the most stacked roster in the NHL on the tail end of back-to-back away games.

Unfortunately Ozzy and Drapes are under contract until 2011, though Draper may be useful in a limited role. Maltby's contract is up at the end of the season. It's definitely time to give his role to one of the kids.
